The Dorms

The rest of the school day went by pretty fast and soon enough it was time to head back to the dorms. I followed the class to their dorm, staying behind in the very back. We got to the dorms and after I closed the door behind myself and got my slippers on, I looked around the common area. I saw blankets on the backs of the two couches, throw pillows on the cushions of the couches and arm chair, pictures of the class doing different activities hanging on the walls, a PlayStation 5 hooked up to the TV with the controllers sitting on a charging station, and a coffee table in front of the couches and TV.

I keep looking around and I notice that there's a set of stairs that leads up to the other floors of the building and I also notice that there's an elevator. I see that Bakugo, Izuku, and a red head start to get on the elevator when the doors open up for them.

"Hey can someone hold the door open please?" I ask while making my way towards the elevator quickly.

I see the red head place his hand on the door so it doesn't close. I make it inside and thank the red head.

"Hey it's no problem bro. What floor did you get placed on?"

"Oh, um floor 4. I never got your name by the way."

"Oh it's Eijiro Kirishima my quirk is called 'Hardening'. I can harden my body to protect myself from hard impacts and attacks." He tells me with a broad smile.

"That's amazing and a very versatile quirk."

"I agree Jason. I've seen Kiri fight before and it's amazing to watch. He has this special move called 'Unbreakable' which is basically when he makes his body harden to the point that nothing can stop him or even hurt him. How long have you gotten the time up that you can use that special move for again?" Izuku asks him.

"Roughly 2 minutes. I've been working on building the time up for longer periods. I wanna be able to stay in 'Unbreakable' for more than 5 minutes."

"I believe that if you keep pushing your limit over and over you'll get there. The only way to push the limit farther is to keep reaching that limit and then going past it until activating 'Unbreakable' and staying in that mode is like second nature. Trust me, when I was trying to get used to dislodging my feathers from my wings I had to do the same thing. I had to keep reaching the limit I had and then pushing past that limit. Now when I dislodge a feather it's natural for me."

The elevator stops on the second floor and Izuku gets off while waving to Kiri, Bakugo, and myself. He says he'll see us at dinner tonight. When he makes it to his door is when the doors of the elevator close and it starts to head up to the fourth floor.

"So I'm guessing that you got placed into the empty room that's right next to mine, right?" Bakugo asks me.

"Yeah. I hope the dorms are sound proofed I have a tendency to blast music a lot and the last thing I would want is for people to get mad at that." I tell them nervously.

"Oh man." Kiri laughed out. "You don't have to worry about that. All the rooms are sound proofed because of Bakubro, Kamibro, Jiro, and Tokoyami. They all liked to blast their music too and Bakubro also had a tendency to set off his explosions while he would be in his room. So roughly a month into the dorms being a thing the staff had to come in and make each room sound proof. Plus Koda didn't like the loud noises and it scared the animals that he has in his room."

"Hey shitty hair, do me a favor and shut the hell up before I blast you."

"You sweat nitroglycerin, right?" I ask Bakugo looking directly at him

"Yeah, what about it?" He asks me.

"Well I know nitroglycerin was used as a mood stabilizer for people and now in today's modern medicine it's used to help with chest pains that could be caused by heart problems or coronary artery disease. I also know that if your body has it in large doses it can be bad for you, so setting off your explosions is probably your way of regulating how much is in your body. Since I know most people don't realize that most substances can be absorbed through the skin after long periods of time being exposed to those substances. And even though you use your hands to set off your quirk the fact of the matter is that you sweat the chemical. Which means that your entire body sweats nitroglycerin, which also means that your body is producing a massive amount of testosterone to help counteract the effects of the nitroglycerin. Hm....I wonder, have you tried to look into any kind of medicine that could help with your nitroglycerin levels?" I ask him finally looking up at him to see him and Kiri are absolutely shocked by what I have said.
