Heroics, can't wait to show off a bit

The next morning my alarm went off at 4 in the morning so I could go on an early run. After turning it off I got dressed in a pair of black shorts, a special harness that was made for my wings, and a black pullover. I made sure I grabbed my ear buds, my phone, my quirk cancelling necklace, and I made sure I had my credit card and ID on me before I left my room, locking the door behind me. I made my way downstairs and put my running shoes on and my necklace, then headed outside into the early morning. For roughly 2 hours I ran around the entire U.A. campus and school grounds and for the last hour of my run I went to the track and did laps around it while sprinting. Once it was 6:55 I ran back to the dorms so I could be back by 7. I knew the classes didn't start till 8 but I really needed a shower after all of the endurance training I did and I planned on letting my wings stretch for a bit before classes.

I walked into the dorms, took off my shoes and put on my slippers. I had taken off my pullover during the last hour of my run because I was getting hot and I didn't need to pass out because of heat exhaustion. So I ended up walking into the dorms with it around my waist and my custom made harness in full view for anybody to see. Before I got anything to eat I took off my harness so I could let my wings stretch out. Then I took off the necklace that I had around my neck so my wings would work again. Since the necklace was a quirk erasing necklace, its entire job was to stop any quirk from working while the wearer had it on. I had gotten this as a gift from Hawks before he left to come back to Japan. It's been great to have it and I use it every time I do any kind of endurance training, since it helps not only with my endurance but it also helps me to build up my muscles.

After taking off the necklace my wings spring back up from their position of hanging off my back and on the floor, into a partially opened position. Once I gather my harness and have it draped over my right shoulder I walk into the kitchen not really paying attention. And since I wasn't paying attention, I didn't see that the entire class was up and eating breakfast together. I ended up walking by them all at the table on my way to the fridge, not even once looking to see if I was alone in the kitchen like I thought I was. When I got in front of the fridge I opened it up to see what all I could have for breakfast.

"God, I may have pushed it a little bit today going three hours with my necklace on. My wings are stiff and hurt so much." I end up groaning out loud a little.

I then stretch out my wings a little more to try and get rid of the stiffness that is in them.

"Fuck that hurts so much. Hopefully they'll be back to normal by the time lunch comes around." I say while rubbing my shoulders a bit.

After rubbing my right shoulder I stretched my wings out to their semi-full length, which was about 7 feet. If I had the room I would have stretched them to their full 14 feet. But since I didn't want to take up the entire kitchen space I decided that them being half stretched out was better than nothing. Once my wings were in a good position I resumed my rummaging through the fridge trying to find something to eat.

"Hm. I don't feel like eggs, I don't want cereal, that would be to light for the endurance training I just did and I doubt that will keep me over till lunch. I need something with both protein and sugar in it since I just spent 3 full hours running. With the last hour of being nothing but pure sprinting. Oooo, a peanut and chocolate double protein shake. That sounds so good right now. But I know it's not mine. Maaaan." I pouted a little while leaning my head against the fridge door.

After a second of me wallowing in self pity I ended up closing the fridge door.

"I guess I'll just have to wait till lunch time. My stomach is going to kill me during that time but since there's nothing I really want in the fridge I'll just have to deal with it." I turn back towards the doorway so I can head up to my room for a shower.
