Chapter 15

Lia's POV:

My alarm goes off. I get up and go downstairs to fix me and Cam some breakfast. I fix us some waffles. I sit down at the bar eating mine when Cameron came down the stairs to eat with me.

"Did Matthew come over last night?" He asks.

"Yeah, we just watched a movie." I said sipping some milk.

"Did you guys do anything stupid?" He asks concerned.

"Why would I do that. You're my boyfriend. I wouldn't do anything stupid with a boy that I don't even like. I can believe you asked that stupid question." I said running out of the room.

"I didn't mean it like that!" Cam yells as I'm half way up the stairs.

"Why? Do you not trust me?" I ask with tears building up in my eyes.

"I do trust you." He said. "With all my heart."

"Then why would you ask a stupid question that you know I'll never do?" I yell back. Then I run upstairs. I call Kayla. (L- Lia . K- Kayla)

K- hello?

L- Hey can you drive me to school?

K- why? Is Cameron sick or something?

L- No, we got in a fight.

K- about what?

L- he went out with Nash last night and Matthew came over. We watched a movie and then this morning, Cameron asks me if I did anything stupid. It sounded like he doesn't trust me. *sniff*

K- I'll be over in 20 minutes okay?

L- thanks bye

I go in my bathroom to put my contacts in. I do my make up and get dressed in a flowered tank top with some jean shorts. I throw on my black vans. I go to my dresser and see the necklace that Cam gave me. I looked at it but didn't do anything. I grab my bag and head downstairs.

"Ready?" Cam asks grabbing his bag.

"No." I mumble.

"You look ready." He says.

"Kayla's taking me to school." I say looking at his big brown eyes.

"What? Why?" Cam asks.

**honk honk**

"That's her. Bye Cam see you at school." I say walking out the door. Then I feel a tug. Cameron pulls me back and spins me around. His lips crash against mine. His arms around my waist. I quickly pull away. "Bye Cam." I mumble.

"Kay, bye." He mumbles back with tears in his eyes. I walk out the door and hop in Kayla's car.

Cameron's POV:

I can't believe myself. Why would I ask a stupid question like that? I know for a fact that Lia wouldn't do anything to hurt me. Fuck! I'm screwed! She probably hates me now. I guess I'll find out when I get to school. I grab my bag and get in my car. My car feels empty without Lia in it right by my side.

I reach school. I see Lia, Hayes, Kayla, Nash and Matthew. Matthew is standing right next to Lia. I walk over to them. Then they all look at me.

"Come on guys, let's get to class." Kayla says.

Everyone leaves but Lia. "Come on Lia." Matthew says grabbing her hand. He holds it. I don't fucking like it. I walk over to them.

"Matthew, can I talk to Lia for a sec?" I ask.

"Fine, just don't do anything stupid. Or is that just a stupid question to ask?" Matthew smirks. Then walks away.

"Lia I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked that question." I say grabbing her hand.

"Cameron, I- I don't know. You really hurt my feelings." She says pulling her hand out of mine.

"Lia please." I ask

"Bye Cameron." She says walking away. Shit, what have I done with the girl I love.

Lunch comes. I sit at our table. I look around for the group. Then I see them sitting at another table. Matthew sitting next to Lia. I decide to throw away my trash and skip the rest of school. I get up and walk to my jeep. I get in it and drive off to the beach.

When I get to the beach, I sit down next to a palm tree. What did I do? Running thoughts through my mind about Lia. Her long blonde hair. Her crystal blue eyes. Her personality. The way she makes me smile. Her beauty. All runs thorough my head.

"Cam?" I hear a soft voice say. I turn around. There's my beautiful girlfriend.

"Hey." I say back.

"Why are you skipping school?" She asks sitting next to me.

"Why do you hate me?" I ask running sand through my fingers.

"I never said I hate you." She says.

"But you acted like it." I state.

"I don't." She says.

"I'm sorry Lia. I was being stupid this morning. My head went blank. I wasn't thinking." I said.

Lia grabs my hand. "It's okay."

"Really?" I ask. Then I lean in. Her lips against mine. Stuff was all back to normal now. I got the girl I loved. Well I really never lost her.
