Fell in love with my best friend

Chapter 9

Cameron's POV:

I wake up to of course my beautiful girlfriend in my arms. She was awake but on her phone. "Morning babe." I said. She yawned.

"Good morning." "What are we doing today?" She asks.

"I don't know. Whatever you want to do." I said back pulling her hair out of her eyes and tucking it behind her ear. She smiled.

"I kinda wanna see a movie. Like a horror movie." Lia said cracking her voice a little. It was cute, like always.

"How about we go see 'Annabelle' later. I herd it's showing at 5."

"Yeah sure." She says getting up from the bed and rubbing her eyes. I get up and kiss her.

Lia's POV:

I head down the stairs with Cameron hand in hand. He sits down on the couch and I go in the kitchen to make some breakfast. I just made some French Toast with bananas on it. "Babe wanna share some breakfast?" I ask Cameron.

"Uh sure." He says coming over to the bar and taking a seat next to me. He takes a fork and we share the French Toast. "You got some whip cream on your nose." Cameron laughed.

"Oh my god." I yelled in embarrassment.

"I got it." Cameron got up and came in front of me. He kissed my nose to get the whipped cream off. I thought that was sweet. Then he started to kiss me. Actually kiss me. I loved kissing him. He was my best friend. I think I just fell in love with my best friend. Is that bad? But I love Cameron so much, I've never gotten the courage to say I love you.

After he kissed me, he sat back down and finished the breakfast. "Go get ready so we can go to the movies later at 5." He said.

"But we have 6 hours and I have to wash the dishes and do my laundry." I said.

"I got it." "Go get ready so then we have more time to hang out on the couch." Cam said putting the dishes in the sink.

"K thanks babe." I said running up the stairs to the bathroom.

I take a shower and do all that stuff. Then I put my robe on and wrap my towel around my hair to dry it. I put my contacts in. I put on some make up. Only some eyeliner and mascara. Then I get dressed in a black spaghetti strap tank top with some white high waisted shorts. I top it off with my combat boots and knee high socks. Then my hair is dry so I curled it and ran back down the stairs to find Cameron on the couch.

"Hey, come sit, watch a movie." He says.

"But we're going to go see a movie soon." I state.

"Then let's just hang out. Wanna go for a walk on the beach?" He asks.

"Sure." I grab my sunglasses and head out the door with Cameron's hand in mine.

We reach the beach and sit on a bench. We just talk about life and our relationship. Nothing bad.

"So summers almost over, you ready for school?" Cam asks.

"Not at all." I laugh. Cam laughs too.

Soon, it was time for lunch so we skated back to the house and grabbed some food. I fixed us some spaghetti and meatballs. We are on the kitchen table and talked a little more. I love talking to Cameron because I feel like I can talk to him about whatever. Like the fact that my dad abused me and my mom died. He's so caring of me. I love that.

Soon it was time to go see "Annabelle." ( if you don't know what Annabelle is, it's a horror movie.)

We got in the car and headed our way to the LA movie theater. On the way, we played Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. (I kinda hate that song😂)

When we reached the movies, we got our tickets and some food and headed to theater 8. When we got there, the movie just started. Me and Cam sat in the back so we can be alone. There was no one in the theater. Only two people in the front. But we got the whole back to ourselves.

The movie started. Towards the middle of the movie, things started getting creepy.

Cameron's POV:

The middle of the movie, things started getting creepy. I looked over at Lia to see her shaking. I put my arm around her as she put her face into my chest. I gotta admit, it was pretty scary. I kissed her head. Then...

Then it got to a scary part. Lia hopped in my lap and leaned in more to my chest. I looked at her. Our eyes locked. She was so damn beautiful. I leaned in the comfort her but soon, I kissed her.

"Thanks." She whispered. She smiled. Her smile was so bright.

When it got to the end of the movie, we left. We hopped into my jeep and drove off. It was dark. "Where to know?" I ask.

"Um, let's go to the beach." Lia said with excitement.

"Alright." I said. We put on some music and headed to the beach. When we got to the beach, we just sat down in the sand. Then Lia got up.

"Where you goin?" I asked.

"To swim." She laughed.

"But you don't have a swimsuit on!" I yelled when she got to the water.

"Who said you need a swimsuit to go swimming?!" She yelled back. Then I see Lia go in the beach water and swim.

"Come in the waters great!" She yelled.

"Your crazy!" I yelled back. I ran up to the water and run in. I swam towards Lia and we just sat in the water.

After swimming and drying off, we went back home.
