Chapter 22

Lia's POV:

I wake up in my bed, still sore from my wreck. It's been more than a week since the accident but I still really hurt. I took time off of school to recover. I basically just lay in bed all day either on my phone or watching TV. But on the bright side, me and Cameron are back on track!

"Here's your medicine baby." Cameron says walking in my room with just basketball shorts on. No shirt.

He hands me my medicine and some oatmeal for breakfast.

"Thanks." I said sipping the water to chase the big horse pill down my throat.

"And I made breakfast for you so you don't have to make it yourself." Cam said.

"Thanks, now go get ready for school. You're gonna be late." I said.

"Okay bye babe, I love you." Cam says kissing my cheek.

"Love you too." I said taking a bite of the oatmeal.

Cam walks out the door. 10 minutes later I hear "bye Lia!" Coming from downstairs.

"Bye Cameron!" I yell back.

Cameron's POV:

I walk in the big double doors to the school. I see Kayla and Hayes together. I walk over to talk to them.

"Hey Cam, how's Lia?" Kayla asks.

"Good, she's coming back to school in a couple of days." I replied.

"That's good, well when you get home, tell her I said hi." Kayla says back.

Then the final bell rings. I walk to my locker. It seems so boring and empty without Lia right by my side. I open my locker and get my books. Then...
