Just fake dating

— ARTHURS POV —

At first my expression didn't change. I know she likes Charles. Why is she doing that to me? I... I kinda like her too. Much. But I can't say that. I don't want to do that to my best friend. Charles and I are very close so that can't happen. "But what about Charles"  "Oh... Ari I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that I'm so sorry"

If Charles would just disappear, everything would be much easier. But ofc he doesn't.

I never understood how people can love two people at the same time but now I can totally understand them. I don't know why Charles acted like that but I'll find out. But for now it's his fault that he treated me like that so he still has to see me with Arthur, just fake dating...

We stayed at his house and watched another movie till I got an idea: "You're going to the GP right? Can I come with you?"  "Yeah ofc I can give you the one pass that I had for my friend who cancelled for what ever reasons"  "That would be awesome"

(AN: I don't know if these times are accurate cause I'm from Germany and we obviously have other times here so if they don't fit to the races I'm sorry cause I searched it up and I'm not sure)

I'm standing besides Arthur. We met a few fans that took photos and videos of us and Charles ofc who was everything but happy.

As soon as the practice started, and most of the drivers drove their rounds I cheered for my friends. I'm friends with most of the drivers but my best friends were Charles, Lando and Max. Even though I'm almost completely sure that Max will win again at Sunday, I still have hopes that Charles or Lando will win. We had a pretty good spot cause the german commentators were almost next to us so I heard everything that happens right now.

"Wir hoffen heute mal wieder auf ein spannendes Training, hoffentlich läuft es auch gut für Team Ferrari, sie haben ja einen ihrer Reservefahrer, Charles King, an der Stelle von Carlos Sainz eingesetzt da dieser nach einem Crash nicht mehr an dem GP teilnehmen konnte. Ferraris neues Talent ist erstaunlich gut, mit seinen Zeiten liegt er auf P3, beeindruckend für sein erstes Training aber Max Verstappen ist ja noch nicht durch..."
(⭢We hope for an exiting practice today and hope that It'll go well for the ferrari team, that exchanged one of their reserve drivers, Charles King, for Carlos Sainz who can't compete on this GP after his Crash. Ferraris new talent is surprisingly good, he's currently on P3, impressive cause it's his first practice but Max Verstappen isn't through yet...)

I honestly was very surprised when I saw the results and went to the ferrari garage with Arthur immediately to congratulate both Charles'. As soon as we got there I ran to my Charles and hugged him, overwhelmed by the feelings cause I was so proud of him but then immediately pulled away when I recognized he didn't even hugged me back. "Hey why are you like that? C'mon Charlie you did P2 that's so good for you!" "I know" he walks away and Arthur lays his hand on my shoulders "Hey I don't know why he's like that but we'll figure that out okay? Let's go to my brother then" After we congratulated Charles for the good practice, some interviewers came up to us

(AN: I once created a c.ai named Charles King idk why it was just a random name and now It's confusing me that they both are Charles)

"Emily Oswind können wir dir ein paar Fragen stellen?"
(⭢Emily Oswind can we ask you a few questions?)

„Deve essere ora?"
(⭢Does that have to be now?)

"Wie bitte?"
(⭢What was that?)

„Ach nichts, was wollen Sie mich denn fragen?"
(⭢Oh nothing, what was that you wanted to ask me?)

I said quietly "Ja ja"
(⭢yes yes" In Germany "Ja ja" means something like I don't care, I can't translate it cause then i'd mean smth like lick my ass and that's weird)

Arthur and I went to eat smth for lunch where we saw Charles. "Hey Ari I know he's your best friend but what he did..."  It was like Arthur could read my mind cause he grabbed my face gently and kissed me. After our kiss I saw Charles furious gaze on us and grinned. That's what you get.

- Q3 -

It's very exiting cause the current leader board is:
P1 Charles King
P2 Lewis Hamilton
P3 George Russell
but Max, Lando, Charles and a few other drivers aren't through yet. Max even got a penalty for track limits, that's surprising.

After everyone was over the line Charles still was in the top three

It was very very close between Charles and Lando but...

Suddenly, right in front of me two cars crashed into each other. I couldn't see what drivers were crashing so I tried to hear from the commentators

"OUHHH Ein crash in Sektor 1! Wir wissen nicht wer es ist aber es scheint ein Ferrari und ein Mercedes zu sein, aber welche?"
(⭢OHHH a crash in sector 1! We don't know who it was but it looks like a ferrari and a mercedes, but which ones?)

I saw the number of the car...
