„you don't wanna know"  „oh I might know... but why have we done that? I mean- he still is my best friend and also Charles best friend... and idk why but I do feel kinda guilty... God I'll never drink that much again. Deli I don't know why I've done that I'm so sorry-"  „hey Mil, hey Deli"  I froze when I heard Arthur's voice.

Deli showed no reaction but I awkwardly turned around „Oh, uhm...Hey Arthur... Good morning..." „Is everything alright?" „Uhm yes sure" Deli laughs the shit out of her and I slap her arm „stop" she laughed even harder. Arthur was so confused, but I just walked away quickly. I think he doesn't remember anything. Well that's good. ig...

I didn't want to be rude but I couldn't look Arthur in the eyes. I started to remember more things but he still has no idea what happened and I would like to keep it that way. When we arrived on the track for the race, I go to Lando. I tell him everything that happened and he was really surprised „Whaaaaat? I knew your fake relationship was fake!" „Shh keep it down we are still „together" and he remembers nothing so would like to keep it that way. And we were drunk okay?" „Will you tell him?" „Not now...I just want to race" „Okay, but don't steal my win this time" „I promise you Bobby"

We finally got in the cars. I just talked with Carlos and he told me that that the doctors said he could race the next GP. He wished me luck and then walked away.

I drove out on the last place. Charles got p3 in quali, but because I was racing, and I obviously wasn't him, I had to start on the last place.

I am still not focused. My thoughts are with Arthur and Charles but- „radio check" „uhm... fine ig" „Emily please be serious" „Okay fine. it's fine." „Em. Whatever's on your mind, blend it out. Don't give up. You remember when you once told me, that racing is like freedom? Forgetting everything and just focusing on one thing?" „Yes I do..." „Do that. Never back down, never what?" „never give up" „come on, never back down, never what??" „Never give up!" „Alright! That's the spirit! Now kick their asses Em!" I laugh. Aaron always makes me laugh. I'm so happy that I met him in school. I drive to my place. The lights went on.

„AND IT'S LIGHTS OUT FOR THE 2023 AUSTIN GP"

I focused so hard. Aarons words really helped me. I got off really good and overtook Lance and Fernando. P18. I was so happy to hear that Lando got the lead. I told Aaron to tell me his places. I overtook Nico and now I'm P17.
Lap 3. rounds I overtook Kevin, Loagan, Valtteri and Alex, so now I am P13. Damn it goes so fast in the beginning.

Lap 7. I overtook Zhou, Danny and Yuki but suddenly Esteban and Oscar touched, and after that they both had to retire their cars what gave me P8. It all goes so fast. Pierre is the next one I got.

Lap 21. I finally got Sergio, and my next target is Danny Ricc, who got up to P7 again because I did a small mistake.

Lap 28. Danny is P15 now, idk why, it's sad... but now I finally got P7 when I overtook George. He drives really good today and it was hard to overtake him.

Lap 36. I went up and down but now I got to Lando. He is P4 and I am P5. Why is he here? We fought for the places for a half lap but I had to let loose.

Lap 39. Lando is P2 again and I just overtook Lewis. The places are now Charles, Lando and then me. It's gonna be tough. I want both to win, but I also want to win myself...

Lap 49. Charles was P3 and Lando P2 cause Lewis overtook him. I went back to P4.

Lap 54. Lewis was P4 again, Charles P3, me P2 and Lando P1.

Lap 55. I overtook Lando and Lewis overtook Charles. I am P1. Holy fucking shit.

Lap 56. Last lap. Me and Lando got away from Charles and Lewis. I was in front. we put up a big fight. „ I promise you" RIGHT I promised... „Aaron."  „What's the matter Em?"  „I'll let him pass"  „Em, hold on. I know he is your friend, and you want him to win, but it is your chance. The person who wins, wins." 

I didn't look for one sec, and suddenly Lando passed me. I still put up a little fight, but I wanted this for him. He crossed the line with me directly next to him. Only 0.02 Seconds oh my fucking god. I am second place. OH MY GOD.

We park our cars and get out. Lando immediately ran to me and hugged me „OMG EMILY I DID IT. I WON LIL I WON"  „YOU DID SO GOOD"  „But it was still hard, you are so good! You definetly deserve a seat."  „Aww thank you Lans. And don't worry I didn't let you win." I did a bit but who cares right now.

When the time came, we got ready for the podium. at first they called Charles out. I was so nervous but Lando calmed me down. „And the second place goes to our reserve driver from Ferrari, Emily Oswind!"  Lando also came up and after the national anthem of Great Britain, twice because of Lando and McLaren, we got our champagne bottles and Lando did his iconic bottle opening, nearly smacking down his trophy. I laught the shit out of myself, but I got interrupted by the load of champagne that Lando and Charles shot at me at the same time so I knocked mine against my knee so that it opened and I joined the fight. This became kind of a tradition since I did it the first time I was on the podium. I drank a bit of it but the last drops I send down Charles and Landos necks.

After that, me and Lando talked in his drivers room. Suddenly I got a message. I looked at my phone and was shocked by the name I saw...
