Lily's P.O.V-
I slept in my mom's room. It seemed that my parents weren't getting this feeling so I decided to go in there, but I didn't go straight to sleep. Like usual, I grabbed my laptop, and scrolled through Tumblr. I had been doing this for hours, and it was nearly 5am. I'm not going to sleep yet though, I thought to myself. Suddenly, the sliding glass door that leads to our dining room opened. I couldn't see it, but I could hear it happening. Whoever it was, I Knew it was not my parents, I could tell they were trying to sneak. I didn't want to move, but I knew if I just stayed still, they would find me anyway, and getting the jump on them would give me an advantage. I stood slowly from my bed, quietly removing the blanket from my legs. I was wearing short shorts, and a long t-shirt, and a messy bun. Let's just say I didn't look that intimidating. The kitchen was right near the dining room and I was a few feet away from the dish drainer. I reached over, and slowly pulled out a large kitchen knife. Luckily neither of the strangers heard me. In one quick movement, I swept my leg underneath one of the strangers' legs sending him landing on his back. Before he could move at all, I had my knee driven into his chest, and my knife to His throat. Strangely his skin was cold and hard. The lights were still out and I couldn't see anything. "Tell me why you are here or I- I will kill your partner!" I stuttered still holding up the knife, though shakily. His partner moved toward the light switch, and turned it on.
I dropped my knife gasping, and I back up into the corner of the room. "Please, don't kill me!" I pleaded holding up my hands breathing heavily. The intruders where giant turtles! One had a blue mask and carried to large blades. They looked to be Katanas. The other, the one I almost killed, had a red mask, and held to Sais. "It's ok we aren't going to hurt you." Said the blue masked turtle politely. I looked up with my eyebrows furrowed. "B-But, I almost killed one of you." I stuttered again. "We can easily forgive. Can't we Raph!" He nudged the red masked one. "Yeah, whatever."
Suddenly a voice came from outside and the sliding door came swishing open. "Lily! Lily!" Lizzy's voice rung out. "Lizzy?" I asked curiously. She completely ignored the giant turtles in the dining room and came down next to me. "You have to get ready to leave! Now!" She screamed helping me stand up. "What?! You see them to, right?" Lizzy laughed and then lead me to my room.
She explained to me that there was a bad man after me. She also explained how if I didn't leave, I would risk the safety of my family. She said she completely trusted the turtles. I never doubt her judgement. If she said the turtles where good, well, I don't have a choice do I? If they were going to kill me, from what I had heard, they would have done it already. I packed all of the things I would need to leave for New York.
This is insane!
I kept thinking to myself. I had my laptop, phone, my bass, blankets, pillows, clothes, and a lot of books. Sadly I couldn't bring the guitar I use, because it is my moms, but at least I have my bass. I packed my wallet, along with other essentials, and just as I was about to finish, one of the turtles came into my room. "Not to disturb anything, but we do need to hurry." The red masked turtle said slightly annoyed. "Look, you are the one pulling me from my family, in the middle of the night. I shouldn't even believe you, but I trust my best friend. Give me a little longer, I don't even get to say goodbye!" I snapped, but I instantly regretted it. The red masked turtles annoyed face turned limp, and he walked off without a word. Great, I thought, now you've done it! I packed the rest of my things, and wrote a quick letter to my family. It was really personal, I won't go into details, but I said I loved them, and it wasn't there faults. I told them to send money to my card still, it would help. I told them it was to keep them safe, and a couple more things.
Suddenly the purple masked turtle, I believe to be Donatello, rushed into my room. "Umm, Lily, I don't mean to intrude, but, we must hurry. Do you mind if I begin to take your belongings out to the van?" He asked. He sure was one of the kindest turtles. "Yeah, Donnie right?" "Yup, that's me." He smiled revealing a huge, yet cute, gap between his teeth. "Thanks, I wouldn't mind go ahead, I just have to do one more thing." I smiled and walked passed him.
Everything going on was crazy! Should I listen to Lizzy? Has she lost it? No Lily, believe in your friend. It will be okay. I sighed, and took my letter to my mom and dad's bedroom, and placed it in the mirrors frame. "I'll talk to you guys soon." I sighed, and turned to leave.
Donnie was standing there holding a hat in his hands. "The Shredder is using a radar like ours to track your wavelength, If you wear this he should no longer be able to pick up your signal." He handed me the hat. "Well, maybe we should leave first, you know draw shredder towards a gas station far away from here. And then put the hat on. He'll head to the last place my signal came from." I stated. "I like you're thinking. You're pretty smart." He smiled, and so did I. "Thanks."
I made my way back to my bedroom, but my stuff was gone. It was probably already in the car. I got out side and was about to jump in. I took a look back at the house. "Goodbye." I jumped into the car. A silent tear fell down my check, and I leaned my head on Lizzy's shoulder. The girl from the mall sat straight in front of me. Funny, I asked to meet her again, she had seemed nice. Wishes come true in odd ways.
Raph's P.O.V-
I have been having this weird feeling lately. I think it is telling me not to trust Lily. Well I know it's about Lily. I really don't understand it. I don't think I should trust her. Not yet any way. We were just arriving at a drive through to get a late night snack, or should I say half dinner half breakfast kind of thing. Lily insisted on buying the food. Apparently her parents left her with quite a bit of money. They were on a weeklong trip out of town, and Lily couldn't go, she had to stay home and finish her school work. She didn't seem to mind though. She bought each of us burgers, and fries, and drinks. It cost around $70.00, but she still insisted on paying for it all. She seemed a little on edge, but I would too if this happened to me. I guess she wanted to stay on our good side or something. I can respect that. "Here Lily, I think you should start wearing this now." Donnie handed lily the masking device he disguised as a hat. She grabbed the hat and placed it over her messy bed head. It was kind of cute when she looked tired. Wait what was I talking about!? Shut up Raph just forget about it. We can't trust her! She almost killed you, you have a good reason to be judgmental. I kept thinking to myself.
A while later everyone else was sleeping from what I could see. I was driving the car, and decided it might be time to pull over for a bit. Everyone was tired, including me. "Raph what are you doing?" Said a sleepy voice from the back of the car. It was Lily. "I'm pulling over for the night, everyone is tired you should be asleep." I said pulling into the nearest abandon parking lot. "No, It's ok Raph, How about I drive, The navigator is on right? I can drive." She said standing up as I parked. "No, It's okay, let's just get some rest." I said looking down at the wheel. "Raph, I know you don't trust me, and I understand that, but you've been watching me, and you know a lot about me. Me, I have no clue about what's going on with you. I have a reason to be doubtful, not you. You can watch me until the sun comes up and you won't find anything more than what you've already found." I was lost for words. How could she tell? I was always great at hiding what I really felt. "I trust you!" I said a little louder than I should have. "Ok then why can't I drive?" she said calmly. How is this girl beating me? "Go ahead drive!" I said standing up. How could I let that girl get to me?! She stood up, and got in the driver's seat. It had been 30 min when she looked back at me for a moment, I was watching her. "I can see you definitely trust me." She said with a sigh. Was she upset that I didn't? I closed my eyes for a few moments, and realized I was sleepier than I had thought. I fell asleep instantly.
