Nightmare

Lily's P.O.V-

I followed Raph in, and immediately grabbed my phone. I had yet again received 5 texts from my parents, but I couldn't answer them. Not until Donnie secured our network. My heart hurt from not being able to talk to them, but I knew it was safer for them this way.

I looked at the clock, and saw that it was 2 am. I yawned and placed my phone on the charger, heading to my room. I saw Lizzy in her room already passed out, as I walked by, and closed the door to her room giggling at the funny position she was in. I lay in bed, and slowly fell asleep.

I was in Florida again, I could tell. All of my surroundings were familiar. I found my way home, and almost cried at what I saw.

My home was on fire. My family sat outside sobbing holding each other. I ran to them, but they instantly all turned to me. "This is all your fault!" My mother yelled. "If you were here, none of this would have happened." My sister cried. "You left us for mutants!" My dad yelled at me, and I cringed, backing up, but they followed. I bumped into something.

I turned to find all of my friends and other family members scolding me. I fell to the ground sobbing.

"IM SORRY!" I sobbed, waking up to a tear filled pillow, and heavy breath. Someone came running into my room, and I kept crying. They turned my light on, and walked to me sitting on my bed. "Lily? Are you okay?" It was Donnie. I sobbed harder.

I fell into his shoulder, still bawling my eyes out. "It w-wasn't m-my f-fault Donnie!" I cried. He held me around the back in a hug. "No, Lily, no it wasn't. It was a dream. Shhhhh." He rocked me back and forth. My eyes dragged, and sleep pulled at me once again, until I fell asleep in the hug.

Donnie's P.O.V-

I was in the lab working on fixing the network for Lily, after seeing her so upset about her family. That's when I heard her yell something from her room, and I ran straight to her. I consoled her until she fell asleep, and laid her back down on her bed.

Sighing, I left the room. I knew this nightmare was about her family. She has been having them a lot lately. She needed to talk to her family again and soon. I stayed up the rest of that night working as hard as possible. Lily was my closest human friend other than April. She hung out with me a lot, and helped me in the lab all of the time. I could tell she and Raph had a thing for each other, and it's just fun to watch how awkward they can be sometimes. I help them with that a lot though, knowing what it feels like.

I couldn't stand to see her like that, so I had to fix this network, and fast.

Hey guys! I'm soooo sorry I haven't updated in a while! This chapter is probably pretty sucky, but I thought I should put a little bit more of Lily and Donnie's relationship. But yeah I'm sorry if it sucks....
