The ride to NY

Lily's P.O.V-

I had been driving for hours. My eyelids threatened to close with every passing second. We were a little more than half way to New York, and the sun had already risen in the sky. I pulled the car over into the nearest parking lot so I could go and wake someone else to drive. As I stood up I heard a shuffling in the back. Mikey was awake and yawning. "What's up Lily? You were driving?" Mikey said rubbing his eyes. "Yeah, hey Mikey did you here that shuffling noise a second ago?" "Yeah, It was probably just one of my brothers moving around." I stood up and made my way to the back of the van. There was a pile of clothes in the back, it seemed to be moving. "Mikey, what is in that pile?" "I don't know, why?" I walked up to and a moved a piece of clothing away. Suddenly, a ball of black and white fur jumped from the pile and onto my chest sending my flying backwards. I immediately recognized what it was. I giggled viciously, and began scratching and petting the animal. "What are you doing?" an aggravated voice came from behind me, and I looked back. I realized I had fallen into Raph's lap. I immediately stood up, still holding the animal, but now blushing widely. "What is that?" a voice said from beside me. It was Leo's voice. "It's my cat Bessy, I guess some how she snuck her way in here." Mikey started laughing his butt off. "What is it Mikey?" Donnie looked to him with his eyebrows furrowed. "Haha, It's just, Hahaha, I woke up and she looked at the pile of clothes and, Hahahaha, the cat jumped on her, and Hahaha!" Mikey's laughter bounced off the walls of the shell razor. Lizzy woke up and looked to me. "Is that Bessy?" She squinted rubbing her eyes. Bessy jumped from my arms and over to Lizzy's lap. "Yeah, I guess she followed you into the van, and we locked her in basically." I smiled. Bessy made her way over to Mikey. "Aww! Who's a cutie wittle kitty? You are!" Mikey cooed. She stood from Mikey's lap and looked to her surroundings. She walked towards Leo. "Aww, Ok I have to admit, she is adorable." He finished petting her as she made her way to Raph. "No, no, no, stay away from me cat. I will not be a push over." He turned his head to the right, and Bessy tackled him. He fell backwards and she started licking his face. She started to play with his mask fins and then she tried to eat them. She licked him some more, and I heard something. Was that a giggle?! "Raph, did you just....Laugh!" Mikey says raising an eyebrow. Raph lifts the cat from his chest and sets her in my lap. "What no way!" He stood up and made his way to the wheel. "Aww, Raphie has a soft spot!" I hear Leo whisper to Mikey. Donnie and April begin laughing their butts off, and Lizzy and I just stare for a second before laughing ourselves. Raph angrily takes the wheel and drives off towards New York. "So, can we keep her?" I look to Leo with puppy eyes. "Yeah, I guess." "Yay!" I hug him, and Raph grunt's from the front. Why did he grunt? I hold Bessy in my lap, and I whisper to her. "I guess they aren't all that bad Bess."

Raph's P.O.V-

I look back at Lily. She is peacefully sleeping with Bessy in her lap. It's kind of cute how Bessy is like her spike. Man, I miss spike. I understand her wanting to keep her. When she fell on me earlier, her beautiful long light, blondish brown hair fell into my face, and it smelt amazing. I couldn't help feeling like I should have helped her up. Wait! Stop Raph, focus! I shook my head and my focus went back to the road. Everybody in the shell razor was asleep, except for Lizzy. Lizzy was staring at Lily, and petting Bessy. She stood up and made her way to the front placing her hand on my shoulder, and it made me jump. "What?" I said in a low voice. "Nothing, I just wanted to say, that I know you like Lily." She turned to walk away, but I grabbed her wrist. "I do not like Lily! There is no way! Nuh uh!" "Look Raph deny it all you want, but I saw you blush earlier when she fell on you. I'm her best friend, so if you do anything to hurt her, expect a beating." "Woah, woah, woah! A beating, from you, and who said I even liked her?!" "Listen here hot head, I know a lot about relationships, I know that Lily has never been in one, and I suspect you haven't either, but I have. I know what it feels like to have a crush, and I know what it feels like to be crushed, and trust me when I say this....... If anything like that happens to her...... you won't live long enough to tell the story." I let go of her grasp. Woah.... I thought to myself. Do I have a crush on Lily? No, I don't, I think she can't be trusted. That's the feeling I have right? I can't explain this feeling about her, I don't know what it means, but It's not a crush....Is it?

Lizzy's P.O.V-

I saw that look in Raphs eye when he first saw her, even if she was trying to kill him. He liked her. There was no denying that. "We will be near the lair in a few minutes, everyone get ready." Raph yelled from the front seat. All the boys including April woke up. Of course I wasn't asleep. Lily lay calm and still, with Bessy laying on her chest. I decided not to wake them up until we got there. I know Lily was taking this hard. Her family was the best. They were so kind, and creative, and welcoming, they were my real family. My actual family, well let's say they were something else. I was glad to be going with Lily. I always imagined us going off and seeing the world together, but not like this. Still, I knew she was missing her family a lot more than I was. I let her sleep. Suddenly the Shell razor went through this weird garage type thing, and down into a subway rail. The car easily glided along this path, until we came to a slow stop. We were near the sewers, and the faint smell tinged my noise as they open the door. It wasn't too bad, but you know, I would get used to it. I hopped out of the van with my two bags and a pillow. Lily had a lot more stuff than me, but that was because of her music, and reading, and other things of the many talents she has. Don't get me wrong, I love reading, just like her, I just don't have very much books. I love reading though. Everyone was out, except for Lily, Raph reached for her arm to shake it, but I pulled his arm away. "Let me handle this." I reached a hand out, and moved Bessy around. She woke up, and looked straight to Lily. She stood up stretching before she sat on Lily's face and chewed and licked her hair. Lily didn't get up. Bessy stood up and nudged her head under Lily's arm, making Lily shift. Bessy then started liking her face up and down until Lily started giggling. The giggling got louder and louder until Lily sat up whipping her face off and then held Bessy out in her hands. "Silly little kitty! I swear you have to be part dog! I can't even sleep in with you around." Lily giggled again before realizing we were all staring at her. "Oh, uh sorry." She said standing up with Bessy in her hands. Mikey had taken my bag, but he immediately set them down ooooing and ahhhhing over the adorable scene in front of us. Raph, Leo, and Donnie where caring Lily's things, and Lily stepped out of the car. I looked over and all of the turtles where smiling. I looked to Raph's expression, and I smiled myself. He was carrying Lily's Bass, blushing and smiling. Awwwwwwww!!!!!!!
