New Power

Heyoooo! Sorry for the long wait! Also, I'm sorry if this chapter sucks, I was kind of rushing it....

Lily's P.O.V-

Donnie started the tests, and I didn't quite understand what he was trying to accomplish, but I went along with it. It felt weird though, the powers. When I used them, it didn't seem like the noise was coming from my mouth. It felt it came from all of me. My entire body just became sound.

I sat in Donnie's seat in his lab, and got to thinking. The powers scared me. I was an official mutant, and I just couldn't quite wrap my head around that. I was different, but at least it was an enjoyable kind of different. Music had always been my escape other than writing, and I guessed I was lucky that I wasn't turned into a pile of goo like Timothy was. Donnie had told me the story, yes, and until now I was terrified I would end up like him. Now I'm glad that I was one of the lucky ones, well if being mutated is luck at all anyways.

I had been thinking for so long that Donnie had finished the tests, and I realized everyone had left. "Lily, well, it seemed that the noise doesn't come from your mouth. When you use your power the sound comes from all over your body. Your entire body produces sound, which is why it can get so loud. And I think that when you were sleeping, that wasn't very loud compared to what you can do sense you didn't even break a sweat." I shook my head agreeing. "Maybe you could go somewhere in the sewer and test it?" Raph's voice came from the doorway. "Yeah, that might help. Lily, do you want to do that?" Donnie said from beside me. I shook my head again, still not speaking. "I'll take you." Raph said walking up to me. "No! I-I mean no. I need to go alone, I don't want to hurt any of you, so please. I want to go alone..." Raph looked at me quizzically, and then sighed. "I understand." "Take your phone though, you know, just in case." Donnie added. I smiled at both of them, and patted the phone in my pocket, and stood up. "I'll see you later guys.." And with that I left the room.

No one was in the pit, so I slipped out unnoticed.

I walked through the endless tunnels of the sewer, and soon it got dark, but strangely I still knew where everything around me was. I made clicking noises, and I could tell where I was, even blindfolded, or in the dark. Sweet! Echo location. I could hear so many things I couldn't hear before. Things that seemed to be far, far away.

The walk I was taking seemed to be very use full in the fact that I had already figured out to other powers. Suddenly there was a shift from behind me, and I stood still. I made a few clicks, and I sensed something, someone behind me. Slowly it lurked its way toward me, and I screamed. I was terrified. But this scream didn't come from my mouth, no, it came from my whole body. The loud blast of noise sent the thing flying back into the nearest wall. I quickly raced over to it, and held my dagger up to its neck, before making another clicking noise, to make sure no one else was there. I realized it was one of the turtles, when I heard it shift. How I knew it was Raph, I have no idea. "Raph, what are you doing down here?!" I put my dagger away and helped him up. "How did you know it was me, and what the hell was that!?" "Well, I don't really know the answer to either actually." I made another clicking noise, that no one else seemed to be able to hear, because Raph didn't even react.

 I sensed another thing behind me sneaking around the wall. It was so dark Raph couldn't even see anything. I turned around, and shouted into the tunnels. "I know your there! Come out!" Raph came closer to me, really close, making me blush. "What are- who are you talking to?" He asked. The figure stepped out, and I immediately realized it was Lizzy. "Dear Lord Lizzy! You scared the crap out of me!" I yelled punching her in the arm. "How did you know-" "She knew it was me to." Raph butted in. "Raph? You're here to? Lily, have you and him been-" "No! What are you talking about?!" "Definitely not!" I added to Raph's outburst. "You guys are so hopeless. I can feel the blush on both of your cheeks right now. I don't even have to look." "Yeah well whatever... I'm going back."

I turned to leave, but Raph touched my back. I blushed madly, and then remembered they couldn't see anything. He slowly felt around my back, until he found my shoulder, then my arm, and then my hand. His touch sent shivers down my spine, and he grasped onto my hand. "You mind helping me find my way back?" Raph asked walking up beside me. "N-Not at-t all." I could tell Lizzy had her figure lightly touching my back so she would know where to go, but she didn't interrupt or talk at all.

Slowly the light began to appear, and we could see again, but Raph didn't let go of my hand. Lizzy stopped holding onto my back, but I could hear her silent fangirly squeals from behind me. I rolled my eyes. We were getting really close to the lair when Raph realized he was still holding my hand. "Oh s-sorry." "Oh my gosh did Raph just stutter?!" Lizzy triumphantly shouted from behind me. I turned around, and grabbed her by the shirt collar, as she continued to laugh. "You are my best friend, but remember that means I will be the last person they expect to be the murderer." She stopped laughing a little bit, and tried to hold it in. I sighed, rolling my eyes, and turned around to see Raph staring at me. "Nice line." He said before turning and walking into the lair.
