The 6 of them were in a boat going through a valley as Lucy looked up and said, "There quiet." Making Trumpkin and Odette confused as Trumpkin said, "There tree's what do you expect." Odette nodded as Lucy said, "They used to give out messages, sing, and dance." Odette looked over to her youngest cousin with a sad face when Trumpkin said, "Wasn't long after you left that the the Telmarines invaded. Those who survive retreated into the woods." Odette looked at Trumpkin and signed, "Did you lose someone special in the war?" Trumpkin seemed confused when Edmund said, "She asked if you lost someone close during that war?" Trumpkin nodded making Odette teary eye and Trumpkin looked at her wiping the tears off making her smile. "I don't understand why Aslan would allow this." This made Trumpkin roll his eyes and said, "We thought he abandoned us when you lot did." They kept going as Odette looked around and signed, "I feel more at home here than I do at England."

They got to shore as Peter helped Lucy and Odette off the boat and onto shore. The rest were getting the boat onto shore when Lucy and Odette saw a bear. "Hello there." Lucy grabbed Odette's hand as they headed toward the bear. Odette trusted Lucy as she said, "It's alright. Where friends." But then all the sudden they heard Trumpkin say, "Don't move, Your Majesty and  my lady." Making both girls turn to look at him but then heard growls behind them. The bear started to run towards them making Odette freeze in fear and Lucy to grab her cousins hand and pulled her as they ran.

But do to not running in dresses but girls tripped seeing the bear above them. Lucy screamed as Odette was freaking out not knowing what to do till the bear was shot and killed. Both girls were shaken as Edmund and Peter ran to both girls holding them. Lucy then looked at Trumpkin and said, "Thanks from the both of us." Trumpkin was looking at the girls as Edmund seemed surprised at this and talked to each other. "You may find Narnia a more savage place than you remember." Odette loved animals and seeing Trumpkin stabbing into the bear Peter held both girls as they teared up. "Are you saying that when you were 1st here the animals spoke?" Edmund nodded as the group walked through the forest.
