After the meeting Odette went outside to catch some air. She was clearly upset that her cousin was acting like this. If it wasn't for Caspian they would be here. She wouldn't be here for Narnia is something she dreamed of for living. Caspian walked over to her and said, "Are you alright Lady Odette?" Odette quickly wiped her tears away giving a fake smile nodding. "My lady, no need to be fake with me. I'm guessing that King Peter acts like this?" Odette nodded as she grabbed the notebook and wrote down. "I'm sorry how Peter acted toward you. Knowing that your old home is kind of a sore spot for you." Caspian quickly grabbed her hand and said, "The only thing that would be a sore spot for me is if you went." Odette was shocked by him saying that, making her blush. "Even though I was called here. I never would go into war like that. It gives me too many memories of what happened to my father or to my uncle." Caspian smiled but was called to get ready. "Odette, thank you for talking with me." The Odette remembered something that women would do to give the men good luck.
She quickly ran over to Caspian tapping him on the shoulder making him turn around. Holding out a cloth for him, making him smile, grabbing it and putting it around his waist belt. Grabbing her hand giving it a kiss as he walked away to get ready for that night. After the group left Lucy fell asleep as Odette looked at the portrait when she heard feet behind her. She turned around to see Trufflehunter with some food for her. "You my lady, some soup to warm up those bones." Odette smiled curtsying as a thank you for the food sitting down eating it. "My lady, do you enjoy Narnia?" Odette nodded, grabbing her notebook and writing, "It's more of my home than England has ever been. My parents suspect me of marrying a military man who acts like my father. They believe that a woman should be silent and obedient."
Trufflehunter said, "I believe that Prince Caspian is very happy to have you in Narnia."
This made Odette blush as Trufflehunter walked off letting Odette to fall asleep waiting for the next day. A nightmare had occurred that night to Odette making her quickly get up in fear. Sweat dripped off her forehead as Lucy felt Odette wake up and they looked at each other. They ran out of the tomb to see not as many Narnian walking making tears fall down Odette's face. Not being for so long she had started to care for the Narnian people and when she cares for someone she gets emotional. Lucy then spoke, "What happened?" Peter snarled and said, "Ask him." Making everyone confused. Caspian looked over to Peter saying, "Me?" Odette walked up to Peter and Caspian trying for them not to fight but it didn't work out. "The only mistake was calling you. Not your siblings and certainly not Lady Odette." Caspian grabbed Odette by the waist pulling her toward him. He started to walk off with Odette but Peter said something which lit a fuse making him start to fight.
It was quickly called off as Lucy and Odette saw Trumpkin hurt. Lucy took care of him as Caspian walked off with Odette behind him hoping she could try to calm him down.
