The Union Government was doing everything in their power to contact RL after that stunt they did.

"Can somebody get an immediate line to Ms. Kristen on what the FUCK she just did?!" a secretary questioned.

"I'm trying, but her office must be empty right now!"

They launched something beyond the Fake Sky.

While publicly this doesn't seem like a bad idea. Science would advance at an exponential rate, there's a lot of money that could be made, and they think that at one point, militarization of such devices will further boost Columbia's glory and image in the world.

But if what Carol knew from experience is true, then things could lead to trouble.

You cannot just poke into the unknown without some potential consequences.

And lord above knows what could mean.

Carol was heading to her capital. She was intent on speaking with her President.

The Sami priest that warned the world that the end was going to come may ring true if Carol doesn't advise Ms. Elena Laila on doing the most basic thing she could.

Which was prepare for unforeseen consequences.

Their previous president, and their first, Max the bird had finally waned in popularity and lost the election to her, but only by a small margin.

Elena Laila was elected on the idea that she was going to grow Columbian business and grow their influence all over the world.

"That's probably better than what some others were advocating for..." she silently thought as she finally began to approach the Presidential Palace. There was some soldiers guarding it, Liberi as she could tell from their feathers behind their masks.

She gave them a salute and she was allowed in.

Stepping through the large garden and passing by the various visitors and officials that were in the complex for today, she focused entirely on the Central Wing of the building.

There is where she is likely to find the President herself.

She hummed, wondering what she was doing now.

As she went up the steps, Carol began to approach the doors, and she saw the Federal Guard there. She gave the man a salute, and he returned it, before hitting a buzzer and allowing her inside.

After Carol stepped in, she began to head through the foyer and started to make way to the Presidential Office. She wiped a feather off the side of her face and slowly reached for the door where she was.

Opening it, she was greeted by the familiar sight of Ms. Laila. Scribbling away on her digital tablet, signing or vetoing laws, orders, whatever comes to the Executive branch.

With a clearing of her throat, the personification of this great nation on Terra had gathered the attention of their Sankta-Perro president. "Hah?" and that is when she looked up and saw Columbia.

"Ah, Carol!" she called out and waved her down. She accepted, and headed over to her, sitting down on the sofa as the President wrapped up some of what she was writing before heading over to her with a cup of Coffee.

"Thank you madam President," she began, taking the coffee and indulging in one long sip. The golden halo of the President beamed as she sat down.

"What brings you to New Philadelphia?" Questioned Elena. Carol chuckled before taking one more sip and setting the coffee down.

"Straight to the point today? Alright," and she turned to her, expression becoming more serious. "We are aware of the fact that Rhine Labs launched a satellite beyond the fake sky, the first time we have ever done that in our history."

"Ahh yes, I remember that!" Elena leaned in, raising an eyebrow, "What about it? Do you have some personal thoughts about it?"

"Prepare," and that is what causes the President to tilt her head.

"Eh?" She slowly responded, "Why?"

Carol leaned in. "I'm going to keep it brief with you," she taps on the table, "When Kristen sent that Satellite up, every one of us, even Victoria, started to feel really uneasy and nervous."

"That fake sky was up there for a reason," Elena leaned back, listening to her words, "And I think that we shouldn't have done anything to interrupt its existence."

The president sat silent, crossing her hands and letting loose an exhale, "I..." she began, "Do not completely understand what you are saying."

"Mmm..." Carol began, looking into the eyes of her President, "Then let me tell you."

Carol leaned in, "I fear that the Fake Sky was here to protect us from something out there," she said, firmly and directly, "Whatever it was must have been terrifying enough for whoever who made it to put it up there in the first place."

Elena squinted, "Are you telling me to mobilize the Military for a threat that may be nothing more than speculation?" The personification shook her head.

"I am telling you to keep a book of contingencies are the ready," she leaned back, her form relaxing, "Whatever it may be, do not be unprepared, there may have been truth in what that crazy old priest was saying all along."

"Mmm..." Elena lets out. Her eyes focused as she looked towards her flag, another flag of similar design, and a map of Terra.

"If that's the case," she gets up and heads to her desk, "I'll call up the Defense Department and the National Security Council immediately."

"Good..." Carol lets out, before smiling and getting up, "It was a pleasure speaking with you Madam President." She raised her hand, something Elena took and shook it.

"It was an honor to speak with you today," she turns and grabs her tablet, "I'll do what I can to prepare for these... consequences."

"You go do that," and that is when Carol began to see herself out.

Hopefully her words had reached the rather laidback president.

And she has trust in the fact that she will be able to prepare this nation for the battles that may soon come.

Whether it be from the mysterious above.

Or from the waters that still reeked of danger, mystique, and fear.
