I gave up hope a long time ago, being free was never something I thought could happen. In order to be free, the hero must die, but how could that be? If he's dead, how could he free me? Once that was clear, that was it, but-

I'm free, and Leo, who looks alive, has apparently freed me. So how, has he done that?

And Calypso's with him. So, they're a thing. And he rescued her. And didn't tell any of us. And now he's suddenly back.
Leo Valdez, Camp is gonna kill you.
I look around to see the rest of us time travellers, all looking stunned. I frown, looking at my girlfriend. Katie has a few tears. I don't like seeing her sad.
Leo, am I going to kill you.

He's alive.

Tears start slowly, streaming down my face in little trickles, and I'm startled, suddenly jumping back. Where did they come from?
I realise why I'm so sad.
Not just because I like Leo, he's a great friend, funny, kind smart, but no.
He reminded me of Travis.
And if this ever happened to Travis- gods-no. I can't think like that.
It hasn't and it won't.
I grab hold of Travis' hand, and just hold it, close to me, leaning into him. I slowly wipe my tears away with my other hand, Travis looking at me and smiling. I look at the girl next to Leo, looking around camp with a large smile across her face. She looks like Calypso.
Probably because she is.
Oh. So Leo managed to rescue her. Wow. Well done Leo.
Hah! Look at Leo's face. I think we should go explain why we are at a camp filled with kids.
