The heroes of past and present must go,

to find the kidnapped in the land beyond any throne,

The children of the moon will lead the way,

with Light and Dark battling the end of Day,

The team of many shall fight the shadowed hand,

The Camp they call home shall make their final stand,

The Brain and Brawn, The Dark curse to break

The rule of the Gods decided by their fate.'

Previously . . . :

M-Nico, on the infirmary bed, pale and ill, an aura of darkness around him, his eyes pitch black. Next to him was M-Will, holding M-Nico's hand, his eyes pitch black, his body still, his body surrounded in a cloud of unease and dark.

There was no doubt about it.

These two cases were linked.

But how?

Why?

Percy2 P.O.V:

I was back in my room, cleaning my cut.

Ouch.

I unwrapped the bandage once more, chucking the dirty thing across the floor once I had gotten it off of me, and braced myself for the sight of my wound.

It was now light green, the wound line blackened, with yellow splotches of infection around it. I didn't understand. Wasn't it supposed to get better? It just had to be a poisoned dagger, gods.

I lightly pressed along the tissue, wincing as the pain hit me. This was going to-

The door swung open, and Annabeth walked in, grinning. She held up some charms, and her face turned to me.

'Percy! Guess what I- . . .' Her voice faded as she took in my appearance, and my cut. The charms fell to the ground. She just stood there, staring, the smile on her face long gone. I was beginning to panic, gods, she wasn't meant to find out, no-one was-

'Percy?' She looked at me, looking hurt. 'W-What is this?' Her eyes filled with dread as she took in the full extent of the damage done to my body, and I tried to get up, but she had already rushed to my side, kneeling down in front of me, gawking at my wound.

'Percy . . . why didn't you tell me?' Her grey eyes shone with the first sign of tears, she felt betrayed, I should have told her. But then she'd just worry, and I don't want her having more stress than she already does.

'Percy. Answer me. I'm your girlfriend, you have to tell me these things. I care about you, and I know that is always going to add to my stress, and worry, and panic, because gods, sometimes you get yourself in the worst situations, but I'm meant to be there for you, you have to tell me these things.

If I was in your position you would want to know, no matter what. So why isn't it the same? I love you, Percy, and I know you love me too. Just, please, talk to me.'

She took my hands in hers, cupping them, and it was all I could do not to beg her to forgive me. Annabeth always made great points, and this was one of them.

I siled weakly. 'I'll tell you, I'm sorry. But really, there isn't much to tell-'

'Percy.'

'Okay-okay, er, well, it started to heal, and then it got worse, the black line and yellow splotches are new.' She looked at me, concerned, and sighed.

'Oh, Percy.' And then she gave me a kiss on the forehead, and walked out, her footsteps fading down the hall.

M-Annabeth P.O.V:

I was in the library, the new addition Leo2 added to the ship when he realised we'd need it, on the floor, inside a circle of open books, all to do with curses, darkness, Nyx, infections, anything to help us get any leverage. The others were also searching, for anything that could help us. I was beginning to lose hope.

My eyes wandered, up the bookshelves and round the ceiling, looking over all the spines of books. There were so many books, all of them copies from the books at Camp, duplicates to take with us. My eyes stopped at a dark purple, almost black cover, the title in silver calligraphy.

The Night's Wrath

Hold on. That looked familiar . . . I quickly checked the cover of the books around me, and-

The exact same copy was there.

I looked back at the book, to make sure it was there, and I carefully got up, walked over to it, and grabbed it from the bookshelf, all without taking my eyes off of it. The cover was the exact same, except from some worn out edges, and the crinkled, yellowing paper.

I opened the book, curious, when a small piece of parchment fell out, tucked behind the cover binding.

Curious, I opened it up, and found a bunch of numbers.

Hmm.

200805030210180190503010140205030210180504

That was a lot of numbers.

But, could they be a clue?

Could they spell out some sort of word?- Words.

Numbers and Letters.

Ok, then, let's try this. Let's go with the original, A-1, B-2, and so on. I wrote the Number Letter code on paper, and started.

What was the first number?

2, 20, or 200?

Logically, 200 wouldn't fit, so it was between 2 and 20. I looked back at the note, and saw that there were zeros all through out the note. If 200 had two zeros, then, let's take away one.

20.

T.

T was the first letter. I carried on, quickly realising the 0's were to show the end of a letter.

T-H-E-C-U. . . I continued, reading the numbers, looking at the code, translating, and then writing it down, until I had translated the whole thing.

T-H-E-C-U-R-S-E-C-A-N-B-E-C-U-R-E-D

The curse can be cured.

I gasped, and ran to find Me2, only to run into someone else instead.

'Oh. It's you. Move.' I glared at Percy, who was on the floor, rubbing his back and staring at me.

'No sorry? Just move?' I glared at him once more, and he shuffled away, grumbling.

I ran down the deck, and to the meeting room, where I hit the meeting button. Now, all I had to do was wait.

Soon, everyone came filing in, and they all stared at me, tired.

'Annabeth, what is it?' Piper2 asked, and I answered.

'I found a note, in one of the books. Seems like an original made it's way onto the ship, and I translated the message on the note, and it said The curse can be cured. We could save them all, and the Camp!'

Everyone's faces brightened, and Me2 started co-ordinating everyone.

'Ok, guys on the Curse finding team, I need you to split in half, and split the work between you all. One group has to carry on working, the other has to IM Camp and ask them to check all the books again.' We all nodded, and got to work.

If we were lucky, the curse could be stopped!

All we could do now was search.
