"She just got here," I inform Selena, who is on the phone with me. Taylor is picking me up for another date. We have gone out quite a few times now, and everything seems to be working out well for us. She calls me exactly when she says she will, I text her every day. Our 'new' relationship has been absolutely amazing.
We get along very well; we haven't argued at all. I am really happy when I'm around her, and she seems to be happy too. We laugh, joke, flirt, everything you do when you are on a date with someone. We still have yet to spend a night with each other, but it has only been a little over a month.
"Have fun!" Selena says into the phone, "I am glad that you guys are trying to work this out," excitement laces her tone, and I can't help but smile. She ends the call and I start to make my way to the door, as she just knocked.
We are going for a walk in the park today, and I am thinking she might actually come over afterwards. Our dates have been all over social media, and a lot of people seem to be talking about it, but we try not to worry too much about what others think. Though, the few comments I have seen, are positive. It seems like people are supporting us. We haven't spoke on it publicly at all, especially considering that we aren't very sure what exactly this is.
Though, if the idea of us being together presents itself, I think I do want this. It's like I am falling in love with her all over again, with less issues between us. It's been beautiful and perfect. Every date we go on is like a dream, but I do wish I got to see her more. I am thinking of talking about that with her today. I think we are finally at a point where we can see each other more, where we can take the next steps in this relationship.
"Hey, Tay," I answer the door, seeing the blonde smiling. I step outside, closing the door behind me, and wrap her up in a hug. She hugs me back happily, pressing a light kiss to my cheek.
"Hey, Cari," she continues to smile. There's a park down the street that we decided we would walk to from here. I take her hand in mine, interlacing our fingers, as we begin to walk. I can hear the clicks of the cameras, but I choose to ignore them, and she does the same. We have gotten used to people taking photos of us while we are out, and we both agreed on not really looking into it.
"How were your shows this past weekend?" I ask her, as we make our ways to the park. She looks to me, smiling. The blue in her eyes is beautiful in this moment. Taylor really is perfect, she deserves everything.
"It was good! A lot of fun, as always," I smile, hearing her voice. It's definitely my favorite thing to listen to, "How about you?" She questions, "You had shows over the weekend too, didn't you?" I nod.
"I did, it was fun, I had a good time," I respond, as we continue walking.
Our walk in the park didn't last too long, as it seemed there were a lot of people around. We begin the journey back to my house, and I decide to finally ask if she would like to come over. It's early evening, there is still time in the day that they can spend together.
"Taylor?" I question as we approach my driveway. We walk up to my door together, where she stops. She looks to me questioningly, and I decide to just ask her, "Would you like to come inside?" I almost stutter nervously, "I can order a pizza, we can watch a movie," I suggest.
"Are you sure?" She asks, looking to me with a seriousness in her eyes.
"Yes," I nod, "I would like to spend more time with you. It's been more than three dates," I joke, both of us letting out a light laugh.
"Okay," she accepts, and I unlock the door, letting both of us inside, "This is a nice place you have here," she smiles, as if she hasn't spent many nights here before, and I roll my eyes playfully.
