The Girl Who Climbed To The Lookout
The warm, golden sun hung low in the sky as Goku and Gohan ascended the serpentine path leading to the Lookout. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the surrounding trees, and the serene atmosphere was a stark contrast to the intense battles they had recently faced during the Cell Saga. Today, they were on a different mission - a visit to their friends on the Lookout.
As they approached the Lookout, Gohan raised his hand to his mouth and called out, "Hey, Mr. Piccolo! Dende!" Their voices carried in the tranquil air, announcing their arrival. The towering platform loomed before them, a place they had frequented over the years.
A few moments later, they spotted Dende and Piccolo engaged in a conversation near the edge of the Lookout. Goku's keen senses picked up the discussion. They were talking about someone, a girl who had climbed to the Lookout and passed Korin's tests. It piqued Goku's interest instantly. He couldn't resist the prospect of a new warrior to spar with.
Goku elbowed Gohan, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "Gohan, did you hear that? A new fighter has come here! I can't wait to meet her and have a match."
Gohan chuckled, knowing his father's insatiable thirst for battle. "Dad, you're always excited to fight someone new. But remember, she's probably not as strong as you, or even close."
Piccolo, overhearing Goku's enthusiasm, chimed in, "Goku, I think it's best if you don't rush into this. She's impressive, but there's a vast gap between her power and yours. We should be careful about how we approach this."
Goku pouted, his enthusiasm momentarily dampened. "Aw, Piccolo, you're such a buzzkill."
Meanwhile, Dende, who had been startled by their unexpected arrival, approached the Saiyan and his son. He explained, "She comes from a village not too far from here. She heard tales of people climbing the tower, just like you did, from her friend Upa. She decided to embark on the journey."
As they listened to the story, Goku's excitement rekindled. He was eager to test his skills against this new challenger, despite Piccolo's cautious words. Gohan chuckled at his father's eagerness and turned his attention back to Piccolo, engaging in a conversation about their recent experiences.
Time passed slowly, and they waited for the girl to emerge from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. After an hour or so, the massive doors swung open, and Mr. Popo led the girl out. She appeared a bit tired but wore a proud smile on her face. She was clearly eager for the next challenge.
Unable to contain himself any longer, Goku rushed forward, and without warning, he stuck his head right in front of Mr. Popo, almost colliding with him. He winced as Popo promptly whacked him on the head with a broom.
"Ow! What was that for, Mr. Popo?" Goku rubbed his head, trying to hide the pain, a cheeky grin on his face.
Mr. Popo raised an eyebrow and replied in his usual stoic manner, "No running on the Lookout."
Goku laughed at the old man's seriousness but then turned his attention to the girl. "Hey there! I'm Goku. I heard you've been training here. Nice to meet you!"
The girl gave him a small wave. "Hi, Goku. I'm [Name]. Nice to meet you too."
With that, Mr. Popo wasted no time, immediately dragging the girl into the temple, leaving Goku standing there with an excited smile on his face. He couldn't wait to get to know this new fighter better and, of course, challenge her to a friendly sparring match.
----------
Y/n had heard stories about the Lookout since she was a child. The tales of incredible warriors and the legendary training grounds piqued her curiosity. She wanted to see it for herself and, if possible, train there to become stronger.
The journey to the Lookout was not an easy one. She came from a humble village not far from the lookout. Her friend, Upa, had shared stories of Goku's adventures, particularly his ascent of the tower and his encounters with the guardian, Korin. That's when Y/n decided to embark on the same journey, hoping to prove herself and become a formidable warrior.
After passing Korin's challenging tests, Y/n made her way to the Lookout. The tall tower stood before her, and as she climbed to the top, a sense of awe and anticipation washed over her. She had no idea what to expect, but she was determined to find out.
As she reached the Lookout, she noticed three figures engaged in a conversation. The green-skinned Namekian, Piccolo, was talking with a younger, friendlier-looking Namekian named Dende. Mr. Popo, the enigmatic guardian's attendant, was overseeing the discussion.
Approaching them cautiously, Y/n greeted the group. "Hello, I'm y/n. I came here to train and become stronger."
Dende smiled warmly and welcomed her. "It's nice to meet you, Y/n. You've passed Korin's tests, which is no small feat. Piccolo and Mr. Popo were discussing the possibility of training you here."
Piccolo studied Y/n for a moment before nodding in approval. "Indeed, you've shown promise. We can certainly help you improve."
Over the next few hours, Mr. Popo took Y/n under his wing, teaching her the fundamentals of martial arts and discipline. It was intense training, but she was eager to learn and grow. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, Y/n had gained valuable insights and was ready for the next stage of her training.
With Mr. Popo's guidance, she made her way to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. It was an eerie, otherworldly place, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding as she stepped inside. Training in this chamber was known to be extremely challenging and intense.
Hours passed inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and Y/n pushed herself to her limits. She emerged, a bit tired but determined to continue her journey of self-improvement.
As she exited the chamber, she found herself face to face with a familiar face - the legendary Saiyan warrior, Goku. Her heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness.
"Ow! What was that for, Mr. Popo?" Goku rubbed his head, trying to hide the pain, a cheeky grin on his face.
Mr. Popo raised an eyebrow and replied in his usual stoic manner, "No running on the Lookout."
Goku laughed at the old man's seriousness but then turned his attention to her. "Hey there! I'm Goku. I heard you've been training here. Nice to meet you!
Y/n was taken aback by Goku's friendly demeanor. She managed to compose herself and replied, "Hi, Goku. I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you too."
Goku's eyes sparkled with excitement, and he couldn't wait to get to know this new fighter better. Little did Y/n know that her journey was about to take a thrilling turn.
