Time flew by and the term was over. Though being in first place in her former clay, Nsiah ended up in the seventh place in her current class after completing the term. In the face of disappointment, her aunt's encouragement and her grandmother's pride were such heartwarming support.
In the midst of swirling emotions and fights with Joel, she made new friends like Adjoa Dickson, Kukua Ainoo and Naana Arthur.

There was no more waking up at the crack of dawn . Nsiah and her cousins had time for themselves, liberated from the clutches of early morning alarm. Although her grandmother was not around, the family didn't let it dampen the spirit of their usual family party every vacation.  With hearts heavy about her mother's death yet determined , they gathered together, weaving memories through laughter.
There was an array of delectable foods and refreshing drinks that tantalized everyone's taste buds. Laughter filled the air as they savoured the relished each other's company. The music was absolutely enchanting, it filled the air, beckoning everyone to the dance floor. The children in the family from all the different towns in the Western Region of Ghana showcased their moves in thrilling dance competition. They twirled, spun , grooved and some Azonto to the rhythm.

Few days after the party they went visit her aunt's sister-in- law at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana which was a vibrant and culturally rich city to explore. They really enjoyed the vacation at Obuasi. The sights, sounds and flavours of Obuasi painted a vivid tapestry of culture, leaving an indelible mark on the souls of Nsiah and her cousins.
Vacation was over
Behold the grandeur of new school year. With great honour, Nsiah ascended to the esteemed rank of Primary Six.  The bell rang for the opening assembly. Students stood in lines according to classes. As the sun rises on the glorious assembly, let the words of their esteemed headteacher echo through the halls of knowledge. With a voice that commands attention and a heart filled with passion, he said.
"Listen, dear students of Dispensational Victory Academy. Make sure as we begin a new school year each of you will be discipline and dream of conquering mountains and reaching for the stars. So my dear students, prepare to be captivated for today marks the beginning of a new journey to learn and tested through examinations."
An applause reverberated through the air as the entire student body erupted in thunderous claps. The sound echoed a chorus of appreciation for the inspiring words that had just been spoken.
In unison, the students offered heartfelt prayers and their voices united as they sang the national anthem and recited the national pledge. After that as the rhythmic beat of anticipation filled the air and with synchronised steps, each class marched with pride to their designated classrooms.
In Nsiah's classroom.
As the doors swung open a hush fell over the classroom, in  walked the new students, their presence commanding attention. Eyes widened, whispers filled the air. The atmosphere crackled with anticipation as the class welcomed these newcomers into their midst.

Nsiah's POV
Mr. Mubarak, our new teacher for primary six came with new students to introduce themselves.
Though in a different class I still had Joel as my desk mate. The newcomers were two girls and a boy. The girls introduced themselves as Dyla Mensah and Godwina Ebbah while the boy introduces himself as Kwaku Ohene Agyekum.
My eyes met his and it was as if we had known each other from a past life. The connection was instant and a sense of familiarity washed over me. While staring at him, time seemed to stand still. His round and bright eyes pierced through my soul, captivating my heart. And his height and body far beyond that of a mere primary six student, exuded an aura of strength and allure.
The way his chubby figure carried itself with confidence and grace, let me breathless. And that shiny brown skin of his glistening like a beacon of beauty.
I concluded in my head that I like him. Just as I was basking in my enchantment of my connection to this new boy , my friend Adjoa Dickson reveals that they stay in the same neighbourhood and that she likes him.
