Rihanna searched the basement and found the wrench she had planned to use on her first night in captivity. As she considered her options, she heard the basement door creaking open. Quickly, she moved back to her original position as Malikai walked down the steps. He gave her a dark glare and stepped over Kyle's body, walking towards her. He pinned her against the wall and placed a soft kiss on her lips, saying, "I love you, Rihanna," in a sweet yet dark tone.

Rihanna still had feelings for him, but she knew she couldn't be with him as long as he continued to hurt people. She pushed him away, His eyes widened he grew angry "Why dont you appreciate me!?" she gave him a frightened look and he went to get close to her again but she held her hands out pushing him once more. In frustration, he began to scream, "Why the fuck don't you appreciate me and what i do for us!?"

Rihanna took a step back, shaking in fear, as Malikai picked up a knife from the floor and pinned her with it against the wall. Her breathing grew heavy as he repeatedly questioned her lack of appreciation. In a desperate moment, she managed to shove him back, and the knife slipped from his hands. Rihanna grabbed the weapon and fled for the door.

Malikai, determined to stop her, grabbed her by the hair, dragging her back and causing her to fall to the floor. As she tried to pull away, his grip wouldn't loosen. In a sudden act of desperation, she cut off her hair and moved away, throwing the knife aside and raising her hands above her head in surrender.

Malikai, his eyes filled with astonishment and her cut-off hair in his hands, threw it aside and ran to her, holding her in his arms. She was slightly resistant at first but eventually held onto him. As a single tear fell from his eye, she pleaded with him to stop. Ignoring her, Malikai stood up and left the basement, then the house.

From afar, Maria and Derek, who had been hiding in the bushes, watched Malikai leave. Once he was out of sight, they ran towards the door and began to explore the outside of the house to find a way in. Meanwhile, Rihanna continued her efforts inside the basement, using the wrench to break through the basement door.

Malikai was walking around the streets when he saw the police surround the bodys of fiona, her mother and her step father, he already knew something was off. that fionas mother and step father were already dead and fiona was too hurt to call anyone, from afar malikai noticed she was lifeless and he thought maria and derek mustve found them, he then had thoughts run through his mind about if maria and derek had found out or not. in a rush malikai raced towards his house.

Rihanna had finally broken out of the basement and she dropped to the floor taking a moment, as she was sitting for abit wondering what may happen once malikai was gone she heard movement around the house, her heart got stuck in her throat, the movement grew closer and rihanna was frozen in place, she didnt know what to do, suddenly two familiar faces entered the kitchen, rihanna saw maria and derek who ran to her helping her up, maria hugged rihanna tight the two beginning to cry and derek watching them with a smile on his face, rihanna rested her head on marias shoulder, maria was filled with relief.

All of a suddenly blood sprayed over the two and their hug broke quickly, derek fell to his knees with blood pouring form his neck, he looked distraught, he looked like he was scared, malikai stood above him with the knife covered in blood in his hands he glared up at maria.

Malikai leaped at towards Maria attempting to stab her, Maria furiously fought back and Rihanna attempted to pull him away "Malikai stop!" rihanna screamed, maria was screaming in fear tears rolling down her face then eventually he managed to stab her in the arm, rihanna finally got malikai out of the way and the two began to ran, malikai got close behind them and pulled maria back by the hair leaving constant stab marks in her chest even after she stopped breathing.

Rihanna seeing the scene broke her down completely she looked guilty asif she had failed to save Maria, she felt her whole entire life has just been snatched away from her, Malikai stood up and toddled over to Rihanna and pulled her close, with the knife still in his hand he held it close to her waist "why did you try to leave me..." he said in a cold shady tone. Rihanna began to cry then sudden anger and confidence hit her, she kneed him in the stomach causing him to drop the knife but before she could even move he wrapped his hands tightly around her neck, she slowly went on her knees trying to fight him off, he had a psychotic look in his eyes.

He started to laugh manically, rihanna choking tried to speak "m.. malikai..." she was slowly loosing consciousness as his grip tightened "you cant ever leave me... i love you too much" he said as tears began to fall from his eyes, his face still looking psychotic he began laughting again while tears continued to come through, rihanna used the last of her strength to grab the knife from the floor, she pierced the blade right imto his chest where his heart is, his laughter grew louder and he began to cough and blood came from his mouth, rihanna finally took her last breathe and malikai let go, he dropped to his knees and held her close to him "i love you" he sobbed, then pushing the blade further into his chest he dropped beside her smiling as his life also came to an end.
