I don't know what exactly is going wrong with my writing. I am being really honest here.

The last chapter had just 18 comments. Itna bura toh nahi tha yaar woh chapter.

Anyways,I don't want to cry about it or whine about it anymore. I can't push people to like my work or respond on compulsion.

So, here is the next chapter. I am posting it for a few special people who mean a lot to me.

Happy reading!!

At Birla House:

Abhimanyu was in a rather foul mood. He had to crack the whip on the newly recruited interns for their reckless attitude. He was actually getting irritated by the GenZ attitude and the modern outlook, which according to them, translates to taking things easy and taking a chill pill. He had to draw the line and let all of them know that he will not tolerate the kind of behaviour in his Hospital for sure.

Being a DOCTOR is just not a PROFESSION, it's a SERVICE in his eyes or to be precise, that is the attitude he wants in his Hospital. If few of the new recruits have any other expectations regarding their experience here, they should be forewarned. He even suggested them to reconsider their induction into Birla Hospitals before it gets too late and he would be forced to give them negative remarks at the very beginning of their professional career.

He just didn't want a single person to carry that attitude and give wrong ideas to the others. His Hospital is a temple for him, a sacred place where divine intervention keeps happening unknowingly as lives gets saved and miracles happen. One hint of negativity can create a lot of ruckuses in the already smoothly functioning system, and he didn't want that. He wanted the serenity of the Hospital to be maintained, come what may.

At the same time, he gave them an option to choose their own attitude over their place in the hospital because he didn't want to force people to behave in a way, they don't believe in. He can instill discipline in them, but he can't change their innate nature and he didn't want to, also. Abhimanyu took pride in being old school and stuck deeply to his roots, but he also recognizes that everyone need not be that way.

He is not dismissive of any other approach in general, he can be very tolerant but when it comes to his profession, he has a set ideology and would ensure that his Hospitals upheld that in any given circumstance. Also, he doesn't like abusing the power he has and hence decided to warn them of the consequences in case of a lapse or deviant attitude. Now that they know what they are in for, it would be easy for him to man manage without too many second thoughts.

His mind was full of all these thoughts about what makes a better doctor. Can marks supersede attitude and everything related to that? Those were his thoughts when he entered the house. He just wanted to take a warm shower, eat some good food, spend some time with kids and meditate for some time before crashing. Basically, everything that helps him to restore his peace of mind.

He has been leaning on to meditation for solace when his mind had too much to consider these days. A change which was an offshoot of his therapy and a good one. He saw Manjari and went in for the hug. He was too tired to observe the tension on her face. Manjari pulled him closer as she sensed the agitation. He looked so drained, and her heart shuddered in realization that her son might have to deal with the kids before he got any rest.

She was mentally blaming herself for leaving everything on her son. She could have easily stopped this from happening and saved her son some energy. But for now, she wanted him to rest as everything else can wait.
