Admit It

I woke up at 7 something. An arm around my waist and my head buried in the crook of someone's neck. It didn't bother me that much. I was so tired I forgot I stayed at Hunters.

I nudged him awake. "Get up, we have to go to school." I told him. I got up and walked to the bathroom.

When I was done, I walked out and he was still fucking sleeping. I rolled my eyes as I walked over to him. I grabbed his arm and shook him. "Fuck off." He said tiredly as he sat up.

"If you don't hurry up, we're going to be late." I told him as I put my shoes on. I honestly didn't feel like changing. It would be weird if I wore the same clothes to school twice in a row. It was also Friday, and being comfortable was a good thing.

"Jesus fine, chill out." He said as he got up and walked to the bathroom. I went upstairs to the kitchen. I might as well make food, I didn't eat dinner last night. When I got to the kitchen, I opened the fridge.

Eggs, cool, I can make those. I started opening different cabinets, looking for a pan to make them in. I eventually found one and started making breakfast.

I was in the middle of making them when I heard a loud noise. "Cocks!" I heard Hunter yell from the basement. I turned off the stove and walked over to the top of the stairs. "Are you alive?" I asked him.

He then was right there walking up the stairs. Dude like fucking spawned out of nowhere. "Yeah." Is all he said. I nodded and went back to the stove, the eggs now done. I was searching for plates and silverware, successfully finding the plates.

"What are you doing." Hunter asked from beside me. I turned around and looked at him. "I made breakfast..." I answered. He furrowed his eyebrows. "You didn't have to do that." He told me.

I rolled my eyes and held out a plate for him to take. "I wanted to, and besides, I haven't eaten anything in a long fucking time." I stated. He didn't say anything, all he did was continue to stare at me as he grabbed the plate reluctantly.

He broke our eye contact and started getting himself eggs. He then walked over to the table. I doing the same. Before either of us could eat he looked up at me. "You sure you didn't poison these or whatever the fuck?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes as I smiled. "Why would I poison you? If I did kill you, then I couldn't annoy you or piss you off anymore." I told him.

"That's a lot of talk coming out of your mouth...the same mouth that said wanted to kiss me." Hunter said, just to piss me off. I stopped smiling.

"Fuck off, maybe I did poison the eggs then." I said, now pissed off. "No, I don't think you did, cause if you had poisoned them, there's not a shot in hell that you'd be eating them too." He said with a small smile.

"Oh, whatever Sylvester." I said. We then continued to eat in silence. After we were done, we walked out the door and to Hunter's car.

"I would of loaned you more clothes y'know." He said, commenting on his  clothes that I wore to sleep last night. I shrugged. "It's fine. I didn't feel like changing and besides, it's Friday, Fridays are lazy days." I told him.

We eventually arrived to school. Since I spent the night at Hunter's last night, I didn't have my book bag. All I had was my art project and phone.

Unfortunately when we got out of his car, one of Skips friends, Tyler, saw us. "AYO! I guess Skip wasn't lying that Sylvester and the Christian were a thing!" Tyler  yelled, making everyone divert their attention to us.

I rolled my eyes.

Jesus, if your here, please make these dumb fucks shut the hell up

"Ignore them, they don't have anything better to fucking do with their lives." Hunter said. I nodded and we made our way to the doors. The first two people we saw when we entered were Kevin and Emily.

They both walked up to us. "Hey Kevin, hey Emily." I said with a smile as they reached me. Emily just stared at me. "You okay Em?" I questioned. "Hm? Oh, yeah, I just need to talk to you." She said as she grabbed my hand and started dragged me off to where ever.

"I'll see you later, Sylvester." I said to him with a small smile as Emily lead me to the bathroom. He actually returned the smile. "Okay, Covertin." Hunter said.

I then turned around just as Emily and I entered the bathroom. "Okay, what the hell was that?" She asked me.  I furrowed my eyebrows. "What was what?" I asked, having no idea what she was talking about.

She crossed her arms and looked at me like I was stupid. "You and Hunter, you're like...civilized. Let alone, your attire, looks like someone went shopping in Hunters closet." She told me. "Okay, what's wrong with that?" I asked, not realizing that I was insinuating that I didn't hate him, or that we were friends.

"And? Eden, you two literally hate each other. Like have hated each other since the fucking beginning of the worlds existence." She stated.

I didn't say anything, I looked at the floor. "Admit it." Emily told me. I looked back at her. "Admit what?" I asked genuinely confused. She sighed loudly. "That you like Hunter." She said.

My mouth fell open. "Why would I admit that?"

"You didn't deny it's not true." She concluded. "Emily, I don't like Hunter. In fact I can't like Hunter. He's literally my worse enemy. I just I-no, just no." I said.

Emily then smiled at me and looked really excited. "You know the saying. Keep your friends close, your enemies closer." I rolled my eyes and smiled a small smile. "Aha!" Emily said, acknowledging the upturn of my lips.

"You smiled." She said. "I admitted nothing." I said with the same small smile. "You didn't have to." She said as she opened the door and we walked back out into the hallway.

"Whatever." I said as we walked down the hallway, the bell ringing. I grabbed my math book out of my locker and started my way to class, walking by Hunter and Kevin. Hunter and I glanced and smiled at each other. I continued my way to math class.

"What was that." Kevin asked me. "Hm?" I asked, turning to him as Eden continued to walk past us and down the hallway. "You guys smiled at each other, and her clothes...your clothes." Kevin said. "Okay?" I answered not knowing why he was talking to me about Eden.

"Admit it." He told me. Now I was completely lost. "Admit what?" I questioned, still having no fucking clue what he was getting at. At this point the both of us were going to be late to class.

"You like Eden." Kevin said. I shook my head. "No, alright. The only things in life I like are metal music, guitars, guitar riffs, and metal bands. Fuck off with the feelings and shit." I answered.

"You like her." Kevin said again. I rolled my eyes and shut my locker. "No." I responded. "Yes." Kevin said. We did this back in forth for way too fucking long.

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes"

"No."

The bell rang and we dispersed to our classes. "...yes?..." I said quietly to myself. I shook my head and laughed at myself quietly as I opened and walked through the door to my class. "Fuck that." I whispered to myself, doubting that my saying 'fuck that' was a true statement.
