The air around Beacon was calm for the first time that night. The White Fang soldiers were escorted off of the school grounds as Ironwood observed the transfer. This victory wasn't without great cost though. Aside from Team FNKI, Ironwood had lost essentially an entire team. Team COPR, the team Penny was on was dead, and he had the task of telling their families that their children weren't coming home alive. This was a wake up call to every aspiring Huntsman and Huntress here. That it was very possible that they would die.

While he went around counting the dead on the ground, Silver, Weiss, and Pyrrha were still in Beacon Tower. Weiss spotted Ruby's red cloak and went to grab it, gingerly picking up the article that Ruby wore at all times. Her mind flashed to memories of their first meeting. Initiation. Their first day of Beacon... The dance they had, just the two of them, when she realized that she had fallen for her partner.

"This isn't a normal school, you know! We're here to fight monsters, so... Watch where you're going!"

"Hey, I said I was sorry, princess!"

"You're gonna see a whole different side of me today, Weiss! And by the end you're gonna be all like, 'wow! That Ruby girl is really, really, cool... And I wanna be her friend."

Tears began to form in Weiss' eyes as her memories betrayed her, making her remember everything up to that point.

"Ruby... I think you have what it takes to be a great leader. Just know that I am going to be the best teammate you'll ever have."

Weiss broke down crying, clutching Ruby's cloak to her chest as she sobbed uncontrollably at the cruel fact that she would break such an important promise to Ruby. She was her partner, and when she needed her most, she wasn't there. So she wept. Perhaps what hurt the most was the fact that she never confessed to her leader, and likely never would.

Silver was deathly silent as he stared at Crescent Rose. His eyes were still black and red, the color of Grimm eyes as he seethed at the fact that he had failed to protect his sister. But he shook off his despair and his gaze gained a hardened, yet determined stare as he picked up Crescent Rose. The black veins around his body began to disappear as he returned to normal.

"We'll get her back." He said, getting Pyrrha and Weiss' attention. "We'll get her back."

Weiss stared at the Bat Faunus for a few moments, before she dried her eyes and nodded at him, standing up and putting on Ruby's cloak. Both Pyrrha and Silver agreed that red looked good on her. Pyrrha went to stand up, but let out a cry of discomfort as she fell back to the ground before Silver caught her and picked her up, pulling her arm over his shoulder as they made their way down to the courtyard. When they reached the ground floor, Silver handed Pyrrha over to Weiss.

"Get her to the infirmary." He ordered. "I'm gonna find Yang and Blake."

Weiss nodded and she and Pyrrha made their way to the infirmary as Silver sprinted to the library.

Adam swung at Raven again, but his attack was easily deflected by her as she turned his sword aside with her own before slashing him across the chest. Adam groaned before getting to his feet again, prompting Raven to roll her eyes before sheathing Omen.

"You're really dense, aren't you?" She asked.

"What!?" Adam snarled.

"Look around, moron." Raven said. "Haven't you noticed that you're the only one left fighting?"

Adam glared at the human, but started to see that she was right. The sounds of distant combat had ceased all together and he was now alone.

"Cowards, all of them!" He seethed. "We were so close!"
