Crash. Crash. Crash.
Tables, chairs, and all of the objects were knocked down.
The place became a mess.
The crimson headed boy huffed in frustration. He was surprised how his emotions had not affected his power-
"Wow, I'm guessing this place is cleared?" The brunette boy asked from behind, startling the demon bull.
"There's nothing here."
"Okay."
The room was filled with awkward silence and the demon monkey cleared his throat to break it.
"You do know you didn't have to uh wreck the place."
"I know."
"What if you missed something that could give us the answers?" MK opened a drawer from a cupboard which laid itself down on the floor.
"I didn't. I checked multiple TIMES. NOTHING. I HAVE FOUND NOTHING. NO LEADS. NO ANSWERS. NOTHING AT ALL THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY OR WHERE THEY TOOK HER!" The demon bull prince yelled, maybe if he continued... His hair will finally burn.
"Sorry for asking okay. Just chill out and relax Red."
"CHILL OUT and RELAX?!?? HOW CAN I RELAX WHEN WE HAVE THE PRINCESS OF MEGAPOLIS WHO RECEIVED THE SAMADHI FIRE THAT COULD LITERALLY DESTROY THIS PATHETIC WORLD WHO THEN WENT TO WHO KNOWS WHERE AND THOSE TWO WHO WAS RESPONSIVE FOR IT COULD HAVE TAKEN HER AWAY! AND IT DOESN'T HELP AT ALL HOW THE BONE FAMILY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH ALL OF THIS! THEY WERE PROBABLY BEHIND ALL THIS FIRING MESS THAT HAS BEEN CREATED!!"
The boy looks at Red with concern, seeing how Red's hair was on fire.
"I..." He tries to find the words to calm him, but no words came to him.
"WHY ARE YOU NOT WORRIED KNOWING ALL THAT?!"
"I am worried." MK calmly said.
Red stared at him, the flames on his head slowly dissipate.
"I'm not convinced," He crossed his arms.
"I am worried alright?!"
Red scoffed, "right."
"I AM. But we have to stay calm for her. Lashing out won't help finding her... I can see how you two have grown closely. Do you love her?"
"Yes. I do love her." Red replied without any hesitation, muttering the last word to himself: "unfortunately."
"That's good," MK grinned at him, but this only raised Red's suspicion.
"You love her."
The monkey boy flinched at his cousin's statement, "o-of course I do! I love her as a friend- I love her as how you would love a sibling!"
Red rubbed his eyes, "you know what I meant. Why are you trying to deny it?"
"Me deny it? What do you meannn? I told you I love her-"
"Yeah yeah," Red made quotation marks with his fingers, "you 'love her as a friend'. Only a fool would believe you. Do you really think I would believe that?"
MK fidgeted with his hands, meekly answering 'maybe'.
"You love her." Red repeated firmly this time.
"Fine. I love her! Happy?"
"Yes."
"Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. It was just a crush. It's gone now." The great sage's son groggily uttered, avoiding the red haired demon's eyes. 'It's better this way... I should change the topic-'
"Stop lying to yourself monkey boy," Red said as he slowly approached his monkey cousin.
"I-I.. I'm not.. lying to myself," MK gritted. 'Ugh.. Why is he still going on about it... My feelings are gone. I don't love her as one would for a lover. I'm not jealous of how he gets to have her. UGH. WHY IS HE SO ATTRACTIVE? Why couldn't he be born as an ugly person or something...'
Red gripped MK's shoulders, "you still love her."
MK's eyes widened, fear reflecting on it. She loves Red and Red loves her too. Not him. His feelings don't matter. It shouldn't. Yet why can't he stop thinking about that scene... It should only be him that would have the red string attached to her finger...
"There you two are. We've been looking for you two everywhere-" Tang said as he entered the room.
A shadow portal opened up behind the scholar.
Instinctively, MK quickly pulled out his family heirloom – the legendary staff; MK attempted to hit the traitor with the staff, unfortunately, the dark furred demon monkey blocked the attack – tightly gripping onto the boy's weapon.
The six eared macaque punch the boy in the stomach causing MK to loosen his hold on his staff.
"Sorry kid, wouldn't wanna let you get yourself hurt. So I'll be taking this with me."
Mac sink into his shadow with the staff and MK's power, dodging Red's incoming attack.
MK felt really dizzy.
He loses conscious.
. . .
"I can't believe you actually did it..." The spider demon uttered, watching him twirled the staff.
"It wasn't like it belong to them anyway."
"Wait what?!"
"Long story short, Wu stole it from Áo Guan."
"Mei's great uncle?!"
"Yep."
"How'd he even gets away with it?"
"Dragon girl is friends with MK."
The Spider Queen gave him a weird look, "that's it?"
"Yep..."
All of a sudden, she noticed him rubbing on the arm that was once covered in icy crystal.
"I'm fine," he gritted when she caught him doing that action.
"No you're not."
"What about you then? Are you fine?" The monkey snapped.
She scoffed, "w-what are you talking about? I am fine thank you very much."
"So you're fine with what is happening?"
She avoids his gaze, "does it even matter at this point? We have gotten ourselves way to invest in this-"
"No. You have invested yourself in this. Not me. Not anymore."
"Then why..."
"I don't really know why I'm still here, but I'll continue to stay for you."
She stood still, totally dumbfounded.
He looks away and said: "you're meeting your sister again right?"
"Yes. I am. It's not like I have a choice..." She quietly muttered the last sentence, unfortunately this was still heard by her accomplice.
"I can only drop you off from that place."
"Why?"
"The chances that I'm going to get iced again is high. And I'm not letting myself do that again."
She nodded at his response.
Guessed she'll have to face that woman alone... and that certainly sucks.
(A whole lot of dialogue there. Some of the scenes from the show will be inserted in the next few chapters again. Now here's a thought: after I finish this season, do you think I should do a QNA? :3 )
