I don't know how long I was out, but once I woke up, blocky heads were blocking out the sun. I pushed them aside, using my other hand to rub my head as well.  I sat up, surprised to see that I wasn't  kidnapped, but in my own house.

I noticed Truemu sitting in the corner, fidgeting with his fingers, if he even had any.

"Hey, Sky, sorry about the incident. Truemu just had to bring his grandmother famous cupcakes and walk in first holding them up in the air," said Deadlox, glaring at Truemu as he said it. "Oooohhhhh, cupcakes!" yelled Kermit as he bent over me to have a bite.

Deadlox was about to stop him, but I held my hand over his mouth.

"Hey Kermit, you can have the whole bag if you go to the other end of that street, swim up the river dam, and not come back until tomorrow," I said, trying to sound as sincere as ii could. Kermit's face immediately lit up. Wow, he must've been desperate.

"Okay!" he said happily as he skipped out of the door, holding the bag of rock hard cupcakes. No, I wasn't kidding, they really are rock hard.

Truemu immediately got up from his corner and came over to us. "I swear that boy can really get on a person's nerves."  Deadlox sent him another glare, indicating that he STILL wasn't happy with him.

I swear, if I ever held a grudge for that long, Kermit wouldn't be living in the house right now, especially since the stair incident that was fixed a couple of minute ago.

I popped out of the bed, and glanced towards the stairs, which were neatly redone, especially not by Kermit. I sent a small reassuring smile towards the guys, feeling happy with them. What Deadlox said next really hyped me up.

"Sky, we're going to go squid hunting."
