Surprisingly, it is Home Economics. They were supposed to cook their lunch together, but it almost turned out to be an arson attack.

Cale Henituse, the most stunning redhead omega, who should be the perfect house omega material, turned his food into charcoal.

"Ugh," Cale grumbled. It is his fourth attempt, and everything is either ruined wood or charcoal. Just those two. He frowned and ran to Roksu, crying.

"Help me! I don't want to starve!" he displays his puppy eyes with a very pitiful expression. He was holding Kim Roksu's sleeve. At this rate, he'll starve until the afternoon!

Roksu sighed and stood up. "I'll teach you."

Roksu stood behind Cale. He was teaching the redhead how to use the knife, the wok, and the stove. He teaches him how to make rice and his favorite chicken cutlet.

Surprisingly, the redhead was simple to teach. Cale was able to cook his own food, but the taste and even palatability fell short of expectations.

"Ugh. I should've learned how to cook before coming here."

Of course, Cale would say that. It's either deliveries or going to the diner. Roksu hands his food to Cale. He's a rich kid who doesn't even lift a finger, but seeing how dejected he is right now made him look really cute.

Roksu smiled. Loud gasps echoed as if they'd seen something abominable in their lifetime. He ignored these shitheads and

"What?"

"Eat it."

"You made this."

"It is fine," Roksu said, taking Cale's failed creation and sitting next to him to eat.

Cale felt bad about it, so he took half of Roksu's food and put it on his plate while taking the other half from his failed dish.

Lee SooHyuk and Choi Jungso, whose dish was even worse, frowned once more when they saw the lovebirds.

"If we were not your friends, we would have assumed you two were a married couple," Jungsoo stated matter-of-factly.

Cale smirks and replies solemnly, "I am his wife."

Roksu simply shook his head and continued eating.

Cale's cooking needs some work. But... it tastes good to him.

Roksu grinned as he ate the food that Cale had prepared.

It's been a while since he tasted something like this. It fills his heart.

November 8th.

Cale looked at himself in the mirror. Today, he's officially 17 years old. In Korea, everyone adds one year to their age at the start of each new year.

He has not celebrated his birthday in nine years. He never got to celebrate it with his father because Deruth was always too busy. He would send him gifts or money but he never called for him. No one, not even his own fiance, remembered his birthday.

"Alver Crossman should just go back to Europe and fuck off," he said as he decided to go to school.

He came across Roksu. The man had a solemn expression on his face.

"What is wrong?" he inquired.

"Today is the anniversary of my parents' deaths," Roksu said, looking at him.

"Oh... Sorry," Cale replied. As they walked calmly to school, Roksu took his bag and placed it on his bike.

"Are you going to pay your respects to them?"
