Cale also looked over at Roksu, who had placed the money in front of him.
"Of course, I love money; who wouldn't? But I also want Cale by my side." Roksu smiled at Cale. Cale looked at him and said, "But this kind of money is better to be with Cale; for the future, we both want, not what I want."
Deruth went silent when Roksu said that. He accepted the money but gave it to Cale.
"I am not a cheap man who would choose money over my partner; of course, I would have both. Even if you do not approve of me, I will do everything in my power to get him. Kidnapping is another option."
Cale could not help but laugh. Roksu smirked as if he were about to speak at a major event.
The two alphas stared at one another. Ron smiled, and Vicross let out a small "hm."
"And you are not someone who would interfere with your son's happiness."
In fact, this alpha father adores his son so much that he makes poor decisions without regard for Cale's feelings.
Roksu understood and believed Deruth's motivation was to protect Cale.
He had become such a harsh father to him.
However, this does not imply that he should be forgiven unconditionally. He is still a cruel and useless father.

Everyone breathed out a sigh of relief. This guy just mentioned marriage while Cale's fiance is right next to them.
"I apologize for using this cringe-worthy gag to test you; I just wanted to see what kind of person you are." Deruth smiled and slowly bowed his head. He exuded the dignified elegance that any nobleman would exhibit.
"He has not taken a single penny from me," Cale said, pulling the sweet parfait that Vicross had handed him.
"No money at all?"
"No, he wants to earn money for himself and told me I should spend my money on something for myself." Cale began to tell stories about Roksu.
The rest of their friends finally approached them. It seems that Ron closed the entire shop for this talk. The old man automatically took on the role of Roksu's guardian.
