Roksu stared at the coupling ring he just bought. It's a silver band with carvings around it. He blushed after noticing the clerk's wide smile.
"For your lover?"
"Ah... yes..."
"You have quiet eyes. It's elegant and decent to look at. It's not gaudy at all and it would fit your partner," the clerk said, looking at him.
Roksu felt a bit embarrassed about it. It was the first time he had ever bought something expensive in his entire life. He paid his bill and went out of the shop. He dialed a number on his phone.
"Hello."
"Hi, Hubby! Wait, am I late?"
Roksu chuckled a bit. "No, I am just wondering if you are awake yet; I can not have you late for our first date."
First date. The very first date that Roksu ever asked Cale to spend alone. Whenever they go out, he and Cale usually split the bill, with the Molrans providing some tips. This time, he would be the one to treat Cale to whatever he wanted.
"I could not sleep properly, so I woke up early! Wait for meee!"
He waited by the station, and soon he heard a frantic gasp from behind.
"You should not have run," he said before turning around. He was caught off guard when he saw Cale dressed in a cream-colored cardigan with black sleeves. His hair was carefully brushed up, and he appeared to be a bad boy. His eyes were clearly visible, and he was wearing glasses that matched his outfit.
Thank goodness I dressed appropriately.
He bought a set of clothes specifically for this occasion. A black three-fourths cardigan with a red sleeve underneath. His hair was also arranged to the side.
He noticed Cale looking at his hand. Roksu was unconcerned about the scars on his arm.
"You're not uncomfortable?"
"Do you find it uncomfortable?"
Cale shook his head. "I like it; I like everything about you."
They stared at each other for quite sometime before an elderly couple laughed and said, "My, what a cute young couple."
"Yup, nice to be young."
They blushed and laughed. They couldn't stop grinning. Their train finally came. They were holding hands as they entered the cart. After Cale was seated down, Roksu remained standing for the elderly woman who called them cute.
They can't help but joke around with the old grandmother and her spouse. Roksu was finally able to sit down after two stops. Cale scooted closer to him and held his hand while placing the earbud on his ear.
"The song Clopeh sang."
"It's good."
"Right?" they listened to music throughout their ride, with Cale resting his head comfortably on his shoulder.
When they arrived at their stop, they got out with smiles all over their faces. It's the first time they've ever gone to an amusement park. Roksu even prepared a hotel room just for this.
But who would have thought that there's AlHyuk in the mix and the questionable JungPeh couples?
Roksu couldn't help but feel so bummed about it. Not because his day had been ruined, but because his wife chose to hold hands with his best friend over his husband.
He wasn't so like him!
"Feeling jealous?" Soohyuk asked.
"Don't worry, I feel the same," Jungsoo said while staring at his empty hand.
