~Ten Years Later~

"Here's your divorce paper, Cale."

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

It's been ten years since Cale came back to Europe. Everything was a mess before, but Cale is still the heir and has the potential to become Count Henituse. He wipes out all of his enemies inside after marrying him when they reach the age of twenty.

Cale was right when he left Korea. If not, Roksu might get caught up in the family drama of Henituse County. They even dared to threaten Cale with ruining Roksu's life. However, Cale was able to take preventative measures as soon as he took over the position.

But...

He had to cut off all ties with Roksu. It was hard for him at first, but Cale decided not to contact the alpha for fear of dragging him into his mess.

They kept each other in a contract marriage.

However, Alver Crossman knew that there was never a day that Cale's heart wasn't a mess.

During those years as count and royalty, Cale had been missing that man. He felt conflicted about wearing their wedding ring. He did not want to take off Roksu's ring. Cale, however, wore them around his neck out of necessity. Keep them safe and cry for hours every night because he misses that man.

Cale's heart has always been torn apart.

The responsibility of bearing an heir to the throne was enormous. However, he was aware that only one person could touch Cale. When he married into the Crossman family, he wore his collar, which no one could remove.

He remembered what Cale had said to him on their first night together.

"I belong to that person."

They never consummated their marriage. Of course, Alver did not want it either. After all, even if it was forbidden, all he could think about was that selfish and obstinate Yandere Alpha, who would go out of bounds while being the ultimate sadist.

Clopeh has been flaring as well and has decided to fly back to Korea soon.

However, Cale still couldn't leave. Bassen has yet to complete everything he needs to succeed Cale. At least, they were able to make a good law about equality between races and genders. It was Cale's greatest contribution so far.

"You're going to visit the count?"

"Yes. It's time to let him go now."

Deruth Henituse had been on that state for ten years. There was no hope for him to wake up anymore, so Cale and Violan talked about letting him rest now.

Doing so, Cale had to stay here longer.

It seems, he really can't go back to Korea after all this time.

.

.

When he arrived at the Royal Hospital, Cale sat beside his father's bed. He gripped his hand and braced himself to release him. His father had been surviving on machines, but they now have to let him go.

But the moment Cale touches Deruth's hand, he can not help but cry aloud. He could not keep anyone around. He even abandoned his one love for pain.

Cale clutched his father's hand and lamented, "Dad, I just realized... I could never be happy."

He only made people around him say things that made them run in circles. He had become quite accustomed to inflicting pain.

"Will not you wake up? You said you would walk me down the aisle. I did not get a proper wedding, because I do not want to. Will not you witness my happiness?"
