Greenhouse Academy: Sophie's Fall

Well wishes and blah blah blah

Everybody cheered when Mia spoke up, "More than Sophie, who missed the people living with her?"

Nobody spoke up.

Cole asked, "Anyone?" silence. "Emma, are you sure you didn't miss Max?"

Max blushed while Emma looked awkward and shook her head. Cole and Mia looked at each other awkwardly then Mia spoke, "Anyways, to welcome Sophie back, we have teachers, friends and well-wishers with, duh, well wishes. First up, the opposing house captain!"

There were cheers as he walked on stage, his charisma lighting up the room. He shared anecdotes of their adventures together, his words a mix of humor and genuine affection. "When representing houses, we'll always be oppositions but as normal students, we're only friends, not captains. You had us worried there, Sophie, you've always been the heart and soul of our group. We missed your laughter and your spirit. Welcome back."

Hayley, the embodiment of loyalty, followed her captain. Her voice was filled with warmth as she recounted the countless times Sophie had been there for her and the others. "Sophie, you've been there for each of us, and now it's our turn to be here for you. Welcome back to our Greenhouse family."

Alex followed his sister. His words were a testament to the respect and admiration he held for Sophie. "Welcome back, Captain. We've been holding down the fort, but it's not the same without you. You've always led with determination and heart. We're ready to follow you into any challenge, because you lead with integrity. Let's win the next challenge, captain." To cheers by the eagles and jeers from the ravens.

Daniel stepped up after his teammate. He, the embodiment of loyalty and support, shared his thoughts next. "Sophie, you are, and always will be, a better captain than I ever was. We missed your sense of adventure. It's good to have you back. You've shown us that true leadership is about facing adversity head-on. We're stronger together."

Jackie, known for her sharp wit and quick humor, couldn't resist playfully teasing Sophie while acknowledging her strength "You know Sophie, we had to work extra hard to keep this place running smoothly without you. Don't ever leave us hanging like that again! You have a knack for getting us into interesting situations. But, in the end, it's those moments that make us who we are. Here's to more adventures!"

Parker, known for his witty quips and infectious humor, brought a smile to everyone's face as he recounted their shared escapades about his captain, "They say behind every successful captain is a Parker with a clever plan. But, in all seriousness, Sophie, you've shown us what true leadership means, and we're proud to have you back."

Max, the voice of reason and wisdom, spoke about the trials they had faced together. "Sophie, you've been our rock, our guiding light. We're here to support you now, just as you've supported us."

Brooke, Sophie's best friend, stepped up to the podium with a heartfelt speech. Her voice trembled with emotion as she spoke about their friendship and the bond they shared. "You're not alone in this, Soph. We're here for you, no matter what. You're not just my captain; you're my sister. We missed you more than words can say. Welcome home."

Jason, the dean of The Greenhouse and Brooke's older brother, took the stage next. His words were filled with pride as he spoke about Sophie's resilience and leadership. "Sophie, your return is a testament to your strength and the deep bonds of friendship that define this school. The Greenhouse is not just a place of learning; it's a place where we learn the true value of community."

Ms. Suzanne, the academics teacher at greenhouse spoke, "Sophie Cardona's return to The Greenhouse is not just a triumph of resilience but a testament to her unwavering dedication to her studies. Sophie, your passion for learning is truly inspiring, and I'm excited to see you back in the classroom, leading by example."

Next came Coach Davies, the sports teacher. "Welcome back, Sophie! On the sports field, your absence was deeply felt. Your leadership and determination were always the driving force behind our victories. The Eagles have their captain back, and we're ready to soar to new heights."

Finally, students from both houses came up. 

Kelsey (Eagles student): Sophie, your leadership is a guiding light for all of us. We missed your spirit and determination. With you being back, the Eagles are a force to be reckoned with.

Carter (Ravens student): Sophie, welcome back to the competition. The Ravens are ready to face the Eagles head-on, and we know you'll lead your team with integrity and sportsmanship, though don't count on winning cuz we all know our captain will lead us to victory.

Alyssa (Ravens student): Although we may be from opposing houses, we can't deny Sophie's impact on The Greenhouse. Her return is a reminder that we're all part of this incredible community, and we wish her the best in her journey ahead.

River (Eagles student): Sophie, you're not just our captain; you're our inspiration. Your return fills our house with renewed energy and determination. Let's show the Ravens what true teamwork looks like!
