Niall's POV:
"Leave me alone! Please! What did I do?" I screamed.
"Susan went away because of you. You're the reason I turned out to be like this. Say hello to punishment, sweetheart." He said, with his voice as rough as sandpaper.
"Let me go! Please!" I cried. The room in which I was, was getting darker. I could hear thunder from outside.
"No, you deserve what comes for you now!" He yelled as he walked towards me.
"No..." I whimpered. But before I could make out anything, something struck my arm. I let out a loud yelp.
"That's what you deserve." He said, grinning like a madman. He raised the belt in his hand and struck down twice on my leg and once on my gut."Dad stop!" I cried.
"Don't call me dad, you peasant!" He said, striking me once again.
"Niall." I heard a girl's voice.
"Please save me!" I shouted.
"Niall." The voice said in a faint whisper.
"Niall.. Wake up." The voice was clearer in my head now. It seemed familiar...
"Niall wake up!" I woke up to someone shaking my body. My shirt was drenched in sweat and something sticky seemed to be on my face.
"Niall, wake up!" Bella shouted at me, and shook me.
"I'm up!" I said. I was panting when I woke up. My shirt clung to my chest and my hair was sticky. I'm pretty sure I must be looking disgusting that time. Well, I look disgusting all the time but, let's pretend more disgusting than normal, if that's even possible.
"What happened? Where you having a nightmare?" She said.
"Yeah. I'm gonna get some water for myself." I said, before standing up and walking towards the kitchen. I felt Bella following me.
"You know I can get water myself." I said, as I took out a glass for pouring in the water.
"It's not a sin to be worried." She answered. I drank the water in the glass and sat on the kitchen counter.
"I know." I said. Bella hopped up and joined me on the counter.
"Come on, let's cook something. I'm hungry." Bella said, patting her stomach.
"Can't we just order something?" I said.
"We were out of town, Niall. We're in the woods, for God's sake." Bella said. I then remembered that yes, we were in her cabin. The one she promised me she'd take me to. It was a nice place, with greenery all around.
"Yeah right, I forgot." I said, feeling dumb.
"So what should we cook?" Bella asked.
"Maybe soup or something because it's early evening now." I suggested.
"Perfect." She said. And we spent around forty five minutes, fooling around. We gathered our ingredients and all the utencils (if you get it, then I love you) we needed. And Bella shooed me out of the kitchen because apparently I was 'messing things up'.
Anyways, it's Saturday today, and I have to leave for Ireland on Monday. I don't even know why I agreed to it. Thinking about it makes me want to curl up in a ball and die. I wanted to fade away and just disappear. But sadly, I cannot do that.
"Ow!" I heard a yelp from the kitchen. I walked to the kitchen to find Bella tightly gripping her left middle finger.
"What happened?" I asked, immediately rushing to her.
