Chapter 10. Rabbity!

Y/N P.O.V

LONG CHAPTER INCOMING. ENJOY!

I open up my eyes to see Rapi and Anis sleeping next to me, one on the left the other on the right. I smiled and looked around the bunker. Everyone was still asleep except 2B who was looking at the door, tapping her fingers on her sword's seath. I managed to get away from the hold of my two Nikkes and walked towards 2B who looked back at me.

2B:"Finally awake Commander?"

Y/N:"Mhm. What's wrong? You look to be on edge."

2B:"I heard something outside. Footsteps."

Y/N:"Someone's here?"

2B:"They left. But I know I heard something. Just making sure they don't get in and surprise all of us."

Y/N:"Thanks for watching over us 2B."

2B:"Doing my job boss."

Y/N:"Was it too long ago?"

2B:"Around half an hour. I doubt they stayed out there doing nothing for so long but..."

Y/N:"We'll be careful. I will wake the others."

2B nodded, still staring at the entrance. I turned around and went to wake everyone one by one. Sin, Neon and then Anis and Rapi. Upon being shook, Rapi smiled and nodded, knowing it's time to get to work. Anis on the other hand happily smiled as if a dream of hers just came true.

Anis:"Hey there Commander. You look so nice..."

Y/N:"Thanks Anis. Now, it's time to get to work."

Anis:"Huh?" *Rubs her eyes, looks around* "Oh. Right. Snowy operation yada, yada, yada..."

Y/N:"C'mon, get up."

Anis:"Right. I'm on it."

She stood up a little dissapointed by something and went to grab her weapon. I stood next to 2B and waited for everyone to get ready. Once done, we all went outside the bunker. It's not as cold as yesterday but still bad. I can see another storm but it's way too far to even consider a threat. At least, right now of course.

After taking a couple of steps out in the open, we heard explosions in the distance similar to the ones Chatterbox's cannon did when he attacked us. They were too far away from us to realistically reach. All my Nikkes immediately went into cover. I was on my own, beind a destroyed car.

Anis:"What is that sound?"

Neon:"Ra-Rapi! Anis! What is that?!"

We all turned around to look a a huge wave of snow going down a mountain, headed our way. The closer it got to us the bigger it grew.

Rapi:"It's an avalanche!"

Anis:"Everybody get into the bunker! Move!"

Neon:"We can't! It's too far!"

Rapi:"Commander!"

We all started retreating into the bunker. Rapi on the other hand sprinted towards me, to try and grab my hand. The avalanche was going to catch us, however.

Sin:"Commander!"

Out of nowhere, Sin managed to dive towards me and grab me. She hugged me as tightly as she could. The avalanche caught us, engulfing us in snow. We rolled and rolled, hitting our bodies with rocks, dead raptures, the ground... we were beating ourselves up and were unable to do something about it. Eventually, I hit something with my head that made me lose consciousness. Lights out...

When I open my eyes... I wasn't in the snowy place from before. I was on the surface. At least, how it was before. I remember this. I was... 12 at the time? 13 maybe. Guess that rock to the head is doing damage to me. Heh. Anyways, this is the reason I wanted to become a Commander in the first place, just like my father once was. The reason why I have so much respect to Nikkes. They, after all, saved my life.
