"ariella that is enough you need to get dressed!" i shouted out of breath at my three year old daughter who ran circles around the couch.
"you can't catch me nah nah na boo boo" she giggled while looking back at me.
"your mother said to stop!" jonah roughly scooped her up into his grasp and plopped her onto the couch. she sat silenced as i put her outfit on.
"i sorry mommy" she whispered and i pulled her into a hug. "it's okay butterfly" i sucked my teeth and looked up at jonah who was standing in the door frame. "go play in your room, we will leave soon" i tapped her arm and she ran down the hall to her room.
