Bianca Shiola's POV
Today, Princess and I were packing our things to travel to see my mother. She had called me and pleaded to see me urgently. And even I knew that it was an important thing that she wanted me to come, discuss with her, so I had to arrange my things to use and travel to my father's house.
I also brought Princess along with me to introduce her to my mother as my woman and someone that I would love to spend the rest of my life with. I also planned to confess my feelings to her and propose to her by her getting married to me, as soon as possible.
I couldn't wait for a minute of my life when I knew that she was the woman that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I just loved and adored her so much that every passing day with her was truly blessed and special to me. I couldn't ask for a better partner than her; she was better than James in a million ways that he couldn't do. She didn't do everything for me without asking for a dime or something in return, and that's how James operated when we dated.
After we packed all the items needed, we waited for the butler, who is the housekeeper, and the maids that Princess's mother had hired. As we waited for a while, we heard a knock, which indicated that they were here, and we opened the door for them, asking them to come in. When they did enter, they apologised for their lateness in coming to the house, and we told them that it was very much okay. It wasn't their fault for being so late, as it was their first time coming and locating the house.
Princess told them what to do, and after that, we left the house straight to my parents' house. The drive was so long that I was so exhausted and hungry that we had to make a stop at a local restaurant. As soon as we got there, we ordered some takeout and left.
The ride to my father's house was the most stressful thing ever because we hadn't even reached it yet. I was so tired that I decided to take a nap until we eventually reached the place. I had told Princess that she should wake me up when we reach my father's house and also reduce the volume of the car radio. She did that, and I slept like a baby, tired of all the stress.
After a while, I heard the engines stop, indicating we had arrived at my father's house. The ride was finally over after how many hours it took us to arrive at the house. I got out of the house and went into the house, and I found no one except the maid who was present.
Good afternoon, ma, she said.
Good afternoon to you. I responded back. Please do you know where my mother and siblings are or where they went to.
Yes, ma, I know where they went to. Your mother had informed me that you would be coming, and I had tidy up the place before your arrival. Mrs. Shiola had asked me to inform you that you would be visiting a friend and wouldn't be back until tomorrow due to something important. And for your siblings, I haven't seen them since today, and I really don't know if they will be back.
Okay, thank you. I told her.
Ma, Is there anything else that you would like to know?
There's nothing else, I said.
Then, I would take my leave now and finish what I was meant to do, she said, leaving us in the living room after taking our bags upstairs to the room where we would share and sleep in.
I turned around and asked Princess if she was ready to head upstairs to our room, and she nodded. So, exhausted and tired of our journey, I decided to call it a night and go to sleep while I waited for whenever my siblings would return home.
