"They're here!" shouts Gally. "No shuck, shuckface!" Newt yells back. I grab a torch and and a large knife. I run to thomas and give him the torch. " Here, you need it more than me." I tell him and follow everyone to the corn fields. "Are they gone?" Teressa asks. Just then one of its attachments came down and grabbed a gladder that I didn't know the name of. We all made way to the Homestead and baracaded the doors. I start shaking. This is not how I wanted my first day to go. "It's OK. Don't worry, we'll be safe." Newt reassures me, then he did something I didn't expect. He grabbed my hand. He held it for a whole 2 seconds before the startlement of a Grievers breaking in made him jump. I pulled my weapon close to me, ready to strike. I can't remember, but fighting seems to come easy. Maybe I did it in my past life.
* Awhile later*
After the Grievers had left, everyone gathered around, listening and watching to Gally yell at Thomas more. "You heard what Alby said! You shouldn't be here! Everything went wrong went you showed up!" Yelled Gally. Thomas grabbed something from Chuck, the young sweet boy, and said, "I shouldnt be here and I need to kniw why I am." Then he jabbed the thing into his leg. "Thomas!!" Teressa and I yelled as he fell to the ground. "The the other serenge! Hurry!" Teressa ordered to Chuck. When Thomas woke up, he and Teressa were in the pit. Thomas told us everything he knew. "I was with them. We did this to them, Teressa." She shook her head no. She was crying. I felt bad for her. I didn't want her to hate me. "It's OK guys, your different now. We don't care what you were like before." I say. "Yeah, that person you were before the maze, they don't even exist anymore." Newt added. This seemed to make them feel better. "So, Gally has taken over the glade and has banished you two into the maze. Anyone who supports you has to leave too." Minho told Thomas and Teressa. "I'm going." I tell them. "We'll, I planned on going, but I'm definitely not letting you go alone. I'm in." Said Newt. I hope he didn't see me checks turn 50 shades of red and pink. "Ohhh." They all said. "Oh shut up. You've got your thing with Teressa, who cares if ive got a thing with Cora?" OK, he didn't actually say that. "Shut up. Bloody hell, you have to make sure girls survive cause they can't do it on there own." He said. Oh really I thought to myself. "Uh huh, that's why I can out run you and I know how to fight Grievers and stuff." I reply back. "OK ok." He says with his hands up. "Alright, its time to go." Says Gally, grabbing Thomas and Teressa. "These people have not obeyed the rules! They must be punished. Thomas and Teressa, are our offerings." Galley annoumces to all of the maze. Teressa kicks the guys in front of her, I cut their ropes and Newt and Minho fight them off. "Alright, we're leaving. We're going to find a way out. If your coming, then come one." Thomas says. Some people come from Gallys side and join us. Then we head out into the maze.
