An Average Life: Resort

Part 3

Servo walked up to the tech room, and opened the door. Glen was sitting at his desk, calmly typing away.

"What?" He groaned.

"What do you know about Six Springs?" Asked Servo.

"I don't know. You're asking the wrong guy."

Servo pulled out their taser, grabbed Glen by the ears, and pulled his head back. They pushed the taser into his neck.

"Don't tase me, bro.." Said Glen.

"Then tell me what you know." Replied Servo.

"Look, all I know is that I was in contact with someone who used to work with Olivia. I don't know anything about Six Springs, but if you had to ask me, I.."

*CRACK, BUZZZZZ"

Servo flinched and immediately rushed to turn off the taser.

"AUUUGGHH! DID YOU JUST TASE ME?!" Screamed Glen.

"I DIDN'T MEAN TO!" Shouted Servo. "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!"

"GUUUGHHH! DEXTER! THEY GUY'S NAME IS DEXTER, I USED TO WORK WITH HIM WHEN OLIVIA WAS MY BOSS! NOW LEAVE! NOW!"

Servo felt humiliated. They left the room as fast as they could.

A few hours later, Rocky had made it to her room, and was laying down in her bed.

"Don't you want to come to the pool?" Asked Chris.

"I'm good." Replied Rocky. "Can't swim anyways."

"You can still sit in the hot tub."

"Well.. I might meet you down there in a bit. I just.. want to take another nap."

"Another nap?" Asked Emma. "You slept in the car!"

"Well, maybe I'm tired again!" Said Rocky.

Emma scoffed and put on her sandals. She left the room followed by Chris and Sienna.

"What's her problem?" She said.

"She's probably tired from her new job." Said Chris.

"Hey, don't talk about her behind her back." Replied Sienna. "You know how bad you'd feel if she did that to you."

Emma huffed, and continued walking.

Meanwhile, Grace was piloting the helicopter over the building, and was looking for a place to land.

"Land on the helipad." Said Servo.

"Can't." Replied Grace. "It's taken. Look."

Servo looked around and eventually spotted it. Sure enough, an unmarked helicopter was sitting on the pad.

"Maybe it's privately owned?" Suggested Skylar.

"Or maybe it belongs to our culprit." Replied Grace. "I'll let you guys down."

Grace flew low to the ground, and let Skylar, Citrus, Ripple and Servo hop out.

"What about you?" Called Servo.

"I need to find a place to land!" Replied Grace. "I'll be back in a few minutes!"

Grace flew away, leaving the group outside the resort. It was big, and mostly made of logs and stone. It was very rustic.

"So, how do we get in?" Asked Citrus.

"They know we're coming." Said Skylar. "Maybe we just show them our badges and hope we get invited in?"

A few minutes passed, and a short dog girl with freckles opened the front door, and peeked outside. She spotted the group, and walked over to them.

"Hello!" She said. "You must be from The WUA."

"Uh, yeah." Said Servo.

"Come inside, I'll get you all something to eat."

Everyone began following her.

"Well. That was easy." Said Citrus.
