Ripple, with her oxygen tank and mask, slowly stepped into the water.
"What do I do if something bad happens?" She asked.
"Then you call me. Your walkie-talkie is water proof." Replied Grace. "If you can't call me, hit the emergency button."
"Got it."
Ripple took a deep breathe, and put her mask on. She went under the water, and began swimming, using the light from her flashlight to guide her. Mira, who was sitting on the edge, watched her dive in. She looked up at Grace and smiled.
"Be back soon." She said.
"Alright. Be careful." Replied Grace.
She hopped into the water, and swam after Ripple.
"Hey wait up!" She called.
They two were now swimming side by side.
"So, how do we know where the leak is coming from?" Asked Mira.
Ripple shrugged.
"Can't you talk?"
Ripple shook her head and pointed to the oxygen mask in her mouth.
"Oh.."
Meanwhile, Rocky was in the dining hall enjoying dinner with her family. She had managed to hide everything about The WUA so far, though she didn't know how long it'd be until she'd slip up.
"This is some good bread." Said Chris, having his third or fourth breadstick.
"Jeez." Replied Sienna. "Try not to fill up on breadsticks, you still have pasta coming."
"Or at least spit on it first." Said Emma.
"I'm not gay, shut up." Groaned Chris.
Rocky bit her nails and looked around. She was worried that Citrus, Ripple or Servo would show up, and she'd be forced to explain why they're there.
"You alright, Rocky?" Asked Sienna.
"Yeah.." Rocky replied. "Just uh.. waiting for my food, I guess."
Sienna nodded.
Citrus and Skylar made their way down the stairs as fast as possible.
"We're never gonna make it on foot!" Panted Skylar.
Citrus looked down the spiraling staircase and sighed. She spoke into her walkie-talkie.
"Servo. First floor. Find him, get him, just STOP HIM, NOW!"
"But I'm on floor three!" Replied Servo.
"We're on seven!"
Servo looked around. They saw an open window at the end of the hallway, and ran towards it. They jumped, covered their face, and waited for the impact.
*THUD*
Servo opened their eyes and looked around.
"Huh.. that wasn't so bad."
They stood up, and ran back towards the building.
Rocky was just starting to calm down, when she saw Dexter enter the dining hall, and sneak through to the other side. She didn't know who he was, and was very confused. Then Servo entered through the same door, and began looking for him. Rocky gasped.
"What's wrong?" Asked Chris.
"N-NOTHING!" Replied Rocky. "I uh.."
She looked in the opposite direction of Servo, and pointed at a potted plant.
"That uh.. That plant is just.. amazing." She said.
"It's cool." Replied Chris.
Rocky turned around to see Servo leave the room. She sighed, this time relieved.
"You're acting weird tonight." Said Chris.
"Nuh-uh."
"okay."
Servo chased Dexter down until they had him cornered. He turned around and snarled.
"Now Dexter, we can do this the easy way or the hard way." Said Servo.
Their hand turned into a gun, and they pointed it at Dexter.
"I'm not giving up that easily." Replied Dexter.
He held the remote up to Servo. Servo was still determined.
"Want a demonstration?"
Dexter pushed one button, and Servo froze. They could still see, but they couldn't move or speak.
"Targeted Protogen Disruption ray." Said Dexter. "Or TPD for short."
He pushed another button and two black protogens rushed up to him.
"Take this one back to the room. It'll make good scrap."
Dexter chuckled.
"Oh, and one last thing, bot. Drop dead."
They pushed another button and the floor rumbled.
Meanwhile, Raven and Mira were still looking through the cavernous pipe maze, when Ripple spotted something. A large flood drain in the bottom of the tunnel had been filled with concrete, and a pipe next to it had a large hole it in, which looked to be intentional. Mira saw Ripple staring, and also noticed this.
Mira swam up to the pipe and felt around the edges of it. The metal was sharp and jagged.
*BOOM!*
There was a massive explosion. Mira and Ripple were both blinded by the light, and helplessly flung around by the current. Ripple opened her eyes long enough to see a massive water pipe that had burst, which was now sucking her and Mira right towards it.
She couldn't swim away as pipe sucked her in. Rocks and broken pieces of metal were sucked in as well, hitting her multiple times. Once she was no longer being dragged by the current, she was bloody, beaten, and couldn't move. It was completely dark.
"M-Mira?.." She whimpered. "Mira?.."
"Ripple.." Choked Mira. "M-My.. t-throat.."
Ripple felt around. She grabbed a flashlight, and shined it towards the direction of Mira's voice. She saw her laying on her side. Her throat had been cut, and was bleeding.
"K-Keep your head down.." Groaned Ripple, weakly. "Don't look up."
Ripple looked around. She was seemingly now inside the pipe, and had found a pocket of air. She reached for her walkie-talkie and pressed call.
"Grace?.." She cried. "Grace, we need help. I can't swim, and Mira's bleeding out."
"Grace isn't here." Came a voice.
"Who is this?"
Coral held the walkie-talkie in her hands, and stared at it.
"I-It's Coral." She said. "Grace got hit in the face with a rock from the explosion."
"Is she okay?"
Grace held a thumbs up.
"She's good." Replied Coral.
Coral looked into the water.
"I-I.. Where are you?.."
"We're in a pipe." Replied Ripple. You need to help us. Please.."
Coral whimpered.
"Coral.." Choked Mira. "Please."
"OKAY! Okay! I'm coming!"
She set the walkie talkie down, and slid out of her tank. She threw herself into the water, and began swimming.
