The ground shook from the blast, and the lights flickered. Rocky looked around, immediately knowing something was wrong. She could feel it.
"I uh.. I have to go." She said.
"Why?" Asked Chris.
She looked to the table, then to the door. She sighed and ran out of the room as fast as possible.
"ROCKY!" Called Sienna.
Chris stood up and started running after her.
"Sis! Wait!"
Rocky ran out of the room and into the hallway, only lead by her instincts. She turned around and saw Chris following her, She bolted away as fast as she could, leaving him standing in the hall, in awe at how fast she was.
"W-Where's she going?.." He stammered.
Rocky bolted down the staircase, and to the first floor. She came to a stop mere inches away from the two protogens who were carrying Servo.
"Servo?-"
Servo didn't reply, and was motionless, being carried by the two taller bots.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?"
The bots dropped Servo on the ground, and attempted to apprehend Rocky, but she was able to avoid them. The protogens stared her down, letting out electronic growls and hisses. Rocky stared up at them, undeterred.
Just then, the elevator door opened. The bots turned, and were immediately hit in the screen with a metal pipe. Citrus and Skylar rushed out of the elevator, and immediately ran to stand in front of Rocky and Servo.
"You okay?" Asked Skylar.
"Yeah.." Replied Rocky. "How did you get here?"
"We were gonna take the stairs." Replied Citrus. "But that took too long."
The bots stood up, seemingly undamaged from the pipe hitting them.
"Now what?" Said Citrus.
Rocky looked around. She saw a sign on the wall that was labeled 'pool'. She had a plan.
"I know what to do." She said.
"Anything, just say it!" Said Skylar. "They look like they're gonna beat our asses!"
"Well, they're gonna have to find them first. Citrus, follow me! Skylar, fix Servo!"
Rocky and Citrus ran down the hallway, and the protogens followed. Skylar immediately tended to Servo, opening their back and hitting their reset button. Servo sat up and looked around.
"Where's Dexter?" They said.
"Not sure." Replied Skylar. "We need to help Rocky and Citrus."
Skylar helped Servo up, and the two immediately began running down the hallway. They tried following Rocky and Citrus, but lost their trail.
"Forget it, we'll take an elevator to the security room." Said Skylar. "Follow me."
They walked to a nearby elevator. Servo pressed the button and after a few seconds the door opened. Chris, Emma and Sienna were standing inside. They stood in silence for a few seconds.
"Servo?" Said Chris.
"Uh.. No."
"Where's Rocky?" Asked Emma. "What's going on?"
"Look, it's a long story." Replied Servo. "We'll explain later."
There was another elevator next to the one that Sienna, Chris and Emma had stepped out of. Servo pressed the button, and waited impatiently.
"What are you all doing here?" Asked Skylar.
"We were going to the front desk to look for Rocky." Replied Sienna. "What are you doing with my daughter?"
"She works with us. We're not doing anything to her."
The elevator door opened, and Dexter followed by eight more black protogens stepped out.
"Well, what a coincidence." He said.
He pointed the remote at Servo.
"Don't shoot." He continued. "I can freeze you again."
"What do you want?" Asked Servo.
"I want all of you to come to the top floor with me." He said. "As my hostages."
"Seriously?" Said Skylar.
Servo shook their head.
"I'm not letting you take them." They said.
"Don't try me. I have bombs planted in the front desk, the dining hall, and even the elevators, all of which controlled by this remote. I can easily freeze you too if I want. Now, are you going to come with me, or am I going to have to get nasty?"
Servo looked back at Skylar, Chris, Emma and Sienna. Then to Dexter.
"We can't all fit into one elevator." They said calmly.
"Servo, what are you-"
Servo looked back at Skylar and winked.
"My bots will take the cats." Replied Dexter. "I'll take you and your dog friend."
Servo nodded.
