There was something wet and cold on my forehead, and something that was very sticky laying on my right flank. I laid there, my eyes still closed, not knowing who was watching me.
"Little one, wake up." A voice whispered in my ear.
I opened my eyes to see a tanish colored she-cat with sparkling green eyes that stared at me. I was in a semi dark cave like room, with leaves and berries all over in a orderly fashion.
"There you go, now I can tell Ivystar you awake." The she-cat said walking away. "Ivystar!" She meowed loudly.
I saw Ivystar run towards us, and then stop in front of me.
"Well she is awake, isn't she?" She joked looking at the other she-cat.
"Yup and she had no permanent damage, her and her sister just need to eat." The she-cat purred.
"Alright Yellowquill, thank you." Ivystar said nudging me to stand up.
I quickly stood up and looked at Yellowquill and said "Thank you"
"Your welcome little one." She purred back.
We walked over to another cave like thing with ivy veins covering the entrance.
"This is the nursery, your sister is inside." Ivystar said, pushing some of the ivy aside.
I ran inside at the thought of seeing my sister. When I got in there I saw two more she-cats with kits. I stopped and looked for my sis, I saw her with one of the she-cats, she was laying in front of her and when she saw me she ran over to me and tackled me.
"SIS, awwww I missed you" she cried, rubbing against me.
"I missed you too." I meowed cuddling her.
"Alright you two, these two fine cats are Spottedtail and Jayfur, and these are there kits, Whitekit, Ravenkit, Dustkit, Firekit, Jaykit, and Leafkit." Ivystar told us, gesturing to the cats and kits. "You two will stay here till we find you mother."
"I don't think you'll find our mother, she was chased away by a beast that barked and growled."
The three cats looked at me horrified. "That was a dog, the enemy of all cats." Ivystar hissed, looking angry. "From now till further notice you'll be apart of our clan, lighting clan. Your naming ceremony will be a sun-break tomorrow."
I looked at Ivystar wondering what a naming ceremony was, but before I could ask she stormed out.
"Don't worry, it's nothing bad. You just go and they will name you." The cat Jayfur said, assuring me it was fine.
"Now come on over her and lay down, you need to rest after your exciting adventure" Spottedtail motioned us over.
I layed down beside my sister and fell into a deep sleep. I started to dream about my mom, she was there, with me and my sis. She was showing us, a good way to find a ripe berry. I missed her terribly, I wanted her come back, I wanted her to be ok.
