Its finally time, time for Ravenkit to become an apprentice. I sat in the nursery waiting for Ravenkit, I was wanting to ask him a very important question. I waited for what seemed moons, and he still never came, it made me sad because he hasn't talked or played with me ever since Ivystar talk to him. I wonder if she told him he's not aloud to hang around me anymore, I grew angry, what rights does she have splitting up our friendship.
"Wildkit Wildkit! Come on it's time Wildkit!" Goldenkit came running in, "Its time for Ravenkits ceremony."
"Ok I'm coming." I'm going to talk to Ivystar after Ravenkits ceremony. I'm not gonna lose my only friend do to some stupid rules.
We all gathered around the leader's high rock, Ravenkit was in front of the crowd looking up at Ivystar with a happy look. I was proud of him, he deserves this.
"Ravenkit from this moment on, you will now be known as Ravenpaw. Darksoul, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You will mentor to Ravenkit."
Omg the deputy is going to teach Ravenkit, or Ravenpaw I mean.
"Darksoul, you have shown yourself to be a strong and loyal warrior. Do all that you can to pass on what you know down to Ravenpaw."
Ravenpaw and Darksoul touched noses and I could see the light in Ravenpaw's eyes, he was very excited. The crowd chanted three times "Ravenpaw! Ravenpaw! Ravenpaw!" and gathered around him. Ravenpaw sat tall and proud, mimicking his new mentor. I pushed my way through the crowd up to Ravenpaw. "Ravenpaw, congrats, you're so lucky to have the deputy as your mentor." The shine in his eyes left the moment he saw me.
"Oh, yeah I guess so. Look Wildkit I have to go, I can't play right now."
"But I jus- ok I understand." I knew there was no use in arguing. I walked away full of sadness, I was losing a friend, what did I do wrong.
It was a long day after the ceremony, Ravenpaw left with Darksoul, he was being shown the full Thunderclan territory. I wish I could have went with them, it would have been awesome to see the outside of this camp.
I sat by the entrance of the camp waiting for Ravenpaw to come back. it was dinner time and I picked him out the a nice juicy vole out of the fresh kill pile. I waited for a long time before my sister came and asked me to help her. Goldenkit loves to help Yellowquill with the elders. They bring them there food and help get ticks and fleas off of them, I sometimes wonder why my sister likes to help get those nasty bugs off.
"Hey Wildkit, why were you just standing there with that vole untouched? I thought you didn't like to waste food."
"Well, it's not for me, it was for Ravenpaw. I figured he would want something after his journey."
"He's not going to be back for a while Wildkit, Darksoul is gonna teach him how to survive a night if he is being hunted down by an animal to large for him to take on."
I jumped the the voice that was suddenly behind us. I turn around to see it was Ivystar, I think she's a stalker sometimes, always being behind me, listening to my conversations.
"Wildkit, I need to talk to you, Goldenkit go help the elders and I'll send Wildkit that way when we are done."
"Ok Ivystar." My sister said, halfway to the elders den. I was scared why did Ivystar want to talk to me. Was I in trouble for bothering Ravenpaw and waiting for him by the entrance? Am I not aloud to talk to him ever again?
