"Hey Wildkit, Wildkit wake up."
"Wha.....?"
"C'mon Spottedtail and Jayfur are letting us go out and play! Come on, get up, I wanna go stretch my legs and play."
"Alright Goldenkit, I'm up, I'm up!"
I got up and followed my sis out into the opening where all the other kits were playing. Whitekit was wrestling Dustkit while Jaykit, Leafkit, and Firekit were playing tag, and Ravenkit was sitting aside watching them untill he saw us and sprinted over.
"Hey Wildkit, I see your up."
"Yeah, Goldenkit wouldn't leave me alone until I woke up." I said, making her embarrassed.
He laughed and me and Goldenkit joined in.
"Hey, want to play warriors?"
"Warriors?" Goldenkit and I asked at the same time.
"It's where there's a bad cat and a good cat and they fight for dominance."
"Oh that sounds fun!" Goldenkit screeched in excitement.
"Yeah let's play." I said getting in my play position with my tail high in the air and my head down low.
"Ok I'm the warrior, and you are one of the other cats the trespassed into our territory." Ravenkit declared. "Ready.......set........battle!" He yelled, then lunged at me.
I quickly leaped over him, and then landed behind him as he face planted into the ground.
"Owwww." He winced standing back up. "Ok I was just going easy on ya, now let's get real."
He lunged at me again but his time at my side, knocking me over. He stood on me not letting me up. I quickly thought of a way to get free, he was standing on my hind legs so if I threw my head back, I might be able to knock him over. When he was looking at me I threw my head back and hit him square on the nose knocking him backwards, I then quickly pounced on him and held my back legs on his and my one on my front paws was on his head holding him down.
"Alright alright, you win, now let me up." He said squirming.
I got off of him and let him up. He looked at me and replied "You sort of small aren't you."
"Yeah, but size doesn't matter." I laughed.
"Your right, Wildkit, it doesn't." Ivystar, startling me. "Sorry for scaring you, I just wanted to tell you, you will make a great warrior in the future."
"I'm sorry but I don't understand, Ivystar." I said confused, at her statement.
"I'll tell you what, tomorrow I am going to do patrol then I won't have anything else to do, so I will teach you all you need to know." She purred, then walked away.
"Wow, your gonna get to spend a whole day with Ivystar, lucky." Ravenkit replied jealously.
"I guess so, I kinda can't wait to learn all this stuff, right Goldenkit?"
She looked at me with delight and said, "Yeah, now can I have a turn at playing warriors?"
"Yeah you can battle Ravenkit first." I mewed. "Ready......set.......battle!"
