Wendy grabbed Alison by her collar and shook her roughly. Her eyes, fueled with the desire for nothing but anger and trouble, did not scare Alison one bit. Even though she'd been taken aback for a second by the sudden attack, Alison stood her ground, not showing any sign of inferiority.

Zelda and Daphne were at her side in a flash.

"Is this our honorable assistant class president picking a fight so early in the morning?" Zelda asked as she struggled to break Wendy's grip off of Alison.

"Let go, Wendy," Daphne said.

"Why did you go around spewing nonsense to my mom?" Wendy asked Alison with a growl.

Alison smiled after realizing what this was about. "Instead of resorting to violence, let go of my shirt and then we can have a reasonable conversation like civilized people."

"That sounds like a great idea," Zelda said, nodding frantically. "Let go, Wendy."

"Shut up!" Wendy snapped.

The other girls made their way towards them, curious about what all the fuss was for.

Alison's eyes darted around in disapproval, not entirely pleased to have many eyes on her. "Let go of my shirt," she told Wendy in a low growl.

Wendy scoffed. "Or else what?"

"You wouldn't wanna find out."

Wendy's hand slipped to the back of Alison's head and she grabbed a hand full of her hair and pulled. Alison winced in pain and Zelda acted fast, grabbing Wendy's hair and pulling at it too.

Wendy screamed. "Get your hands off me!"

"You first," Zelda said. "You let go of her and I'll do the same."

"You're crazy sticking up for this bitch," Wendy snapped.

Zelda pulled harder and Wendy screamed again, having no choice but to release Alison. Zelda kept her grip on Wendy.

"What are you doing?" Wendy asked in pain. "You're supposed to let go!"

"How'd you get to be class president?" Zelda wondered. "I'm baffled."

Bianca rushed in. "Know your place, Zelda. You have no right to be acting like the boss or something."

Zelda released her grasp on Wendy's hair and pushed her aside. With a storm brewing over her face, she walked and stood in front of Bianca. "You got something to say to me?"

Bianca stepped back at her approach and laughed nervously. "I'm just worried for my friend. No hard feelings." She grabbed a furious Wendy's hand and left the dorm with her.

"I'll get you an ice bag," Daphne said as they got to the dining hall.

Before Alison could protest, Daphne ran off to the kitchen area.

"What's she acting like an errand girl for?" Zelda asked as they made their way to a table with their food.

"She's been trying too hard to be friends with me," Alison said. "I don't know what her deal is."

Zelda thought about it for a while. "Well, I did the same."

"You weren't clingy and all up in my business."

Daphne returned with the ice bag and Alison pressed it against her head; the area Wendy had forcefully pulled at.

"You up for a little fun later today?" Zelda asked Alison.

"Fun?" Alison questioned. "I have to study."

Zelda rolled her eyes. "Boring. You've been doing that nonstop. Loosen up a little."
