Chapter 11 Returns and Possible Feelings

AT THE CAMP IN LONDON

Colonel Phillps stands in front of a table, saying the words for a letter as a solider types it out on a paper. "Senator Brandt, I regret to inform you, that Captain Steven G. Rogers and Specialist Rosalie Flora Moore, went missing behind enemy lines. On the third area, reconninse has proven unfruitful. And as a result, I must declare Captain Rogers and Specialist Moore killed in action."

Howard and Peggy walk into the tent, Peggy holding some papers. Stepping forward, Peggy passes the papers to Phillps, "the last surveillance flight is back. No sign of activity."

Phillps places the surveillance papers down, "go get a cup of coffee corporal."

The man sitting at the table gets up, "yes sir."

"We can't touch you Stark, you're rich and the number one weapons contractor for the army," Phillps says looking outside but turns to Peggy, "you however are neither one."

"With all due respect," Peggy speaks up, "I don't regret my actions. And I don't think Captain Rogers or Specialist Moore did either."

"My Icy sure as hell didn't regret her actions," Howard defends his sister.

"What makes you think I give a damn about your opinions," Phillps slightly snaps glancing between both of them. He then looks directly at Peggy, "I took a chance with you, Agent Carter. And now america's golden boy and young heroine, along with a lot of good men are dead. Because you two couldn't say no to your friends. Or in your case Stark, your sister."

"It wasn't that," Howard begins saying.

"We had faith," Peggy finishes saying.

"Well I hope that's a big comfort to you two," Phillps says glancing between them both, "when they shut this division down."

A moment of silence passes, when a a shout from outside is heard. "There they are, I can't believe it."

"What is going on out there?" Phillps asks no in particauler.

Down the road, all the men from the factory walk towards the camp. Steve and Bucky lead the group with Rose in Steve's arms. The woman lays her head on his shoulder, weak in strength and in need of water.

Entering the camp, all the men applaud the arriving men as Steve shouts to a nurse, "medic. We have men who need medical attention. And we need Howard Stark out here right away." The nurse nods, walking away as Peggy, Howard and Phillps step in front of Steve. Bucky stands behind his friend, watching him happily as the once smaller man now takes the lead in the conversation. "I'd like to surrend myself for disciplinary action."

Phillps looks around at the men, "that won't be necessary." He turns to Peggy and Howard, "faith, huh?" Phillps walks away, allowing Howard to walk over to them.

"You're late," Howard states grumpily, "and what did I say about keeping her safe?"

"Yeah well we were in a burning building, and you forgot to mention that she dosen't do well in heat," Steve says, "and plus she's the one who had the transponder. I didn't want to trouble her."

"Opps?" Howard says, "but smart choice overall."

"Hey!" Bucky shouts, gaining everyone's attention, "lets here it for Captain America and Ice Raven." Everyone around claps, Steve grinning proudly as Rose gives a faint smile, half awake.

IN WASHINGTON D.C

Senator Brandt stands in front of a crowsd of people, "and it is with great honor do I present these medal of valor's to Captain America and Specialist Raven." He gestures behind him, expecting Rose and Steve to walk out, but no one does. "Captain America? Specialist Raven?"
