I walked over to the opening in the wall and stared along it. Newt popped up next to me. "U alright there greeny?" He asked nudging me with his arm in the ribs. Sighing i looked at him "are we stuck here?" He blinked at me and looked at his feet.

"For now greeny, for now. You see those people over there." He pointed to a small group of boys huddled together in a circle. I nodded. "Yeah there what we call runners, they run the maze everyday truing to find a way out." I stared at them and back to the opening. "U said a maze. Well anyway how long have they been searching?"
He burned red when i said maze knowing he had let something slip by accident. " three years and yes its a maze out there, it the only way out." He glanced at me for a brief moment before looking down again.
We slowly walked away to get some food. I stood in the queue and felt all eyes on me. I reached the front and grabbed a tray. "Hi im frypan nice to meet u" he said holding out a hand while pilling my plate up. Finally, a nice genuine boy. Smiled at him kindly and sat down at a table next to newt. He smiled at me then went back to eating.
Two other boys sat opposite me called min ho and chuck. I glanced up at them and smiled. The little boy opposite mid mouthful said "nice to meet u, do ya know ur name yet?" I thought for a second before a vage memory popped into my head.
Y/n my name was y/n i looked at him a smile spreading across my face. He looked at me and scooted back in his seat slightly at the sudden change of events. "Y/n thats my name ik my name!"
Chuck smiled and gave me a high-five and newt gave me a hug which caught be off guard slightly but i liked it. I held him in my arms but realised it was getting a but awkward. I let go and we both blushed. I could see a slight smile on his face which made me happy.
Suddenly, a boy behind me grabbed my arm and pulled me off the bench spinning me round to his chest. I tried pushing away but he held me tight. I yelped and struggled agains his grasp. Someone shoved him backwards bring me with him. I was ripped of him and held into someone else.
I could tell it was newt because i could see his blond hair. I rested my head on his chest, because of our hight difference, this is the only part i could nestle into. I felt a tear fall of my cheek. I sniffled but just stood there holding newt.
He slowly lifted my head to look at him. He rubbed the tear off my cheek and brang me back into his chest. I looked over at the boy on the floor. "w-who was tha-t?" I sniffled and looked up at newt. He glared at the figure. "Ben, he's a shucking ass hole anyway dw"
Newt began to walk me to my assigned job for today. I was trying out for a slicer today. I was very nervous. Newt made me stop before we got to the area. He liften my chin again with a finger to look at his eyes. "If u need anything love ill be over there" he pointed to the gardens.
At this point my feeling for newt were skyrocketing. I blushed hard and nodded hiding my hair in my face. He chuckled and walked away.
Gally ran over to me guiding me to my area for today. I picked up a bow and arrow and shot it at the bird in the sky. It fell to the ground dead. Gally looked at me stunned. I blushed and went over to the bird. I picked it up and carried it over to gally. I placed it in his hand.
"Clean shot greeny, well done," he raised an eyebrow to looks at me. Slowly, i grabbed the bird and pulled the arrow out its side. "It wasn't that hard,just had to time it right," i shrugged. We practiced for a bit more until it was time to turn in.
I ran back to the kitchens to collect my dinner and sat next to newt and chuck. I smiled at them and began to eat.
