Slowly, i got up trying to figure out how long we had been sleeping. Nevertheless, it was was cold and frosty. Y/n's nose and cheeks were red a sign of how cold she was. She shivered slightly as i got up to get her a blanket.
"Newt, whats going on" she yawned and looked up at with puppy eyes. I smiled and kissed her forehead softly. "Nothing love carry on sleeping." I looked over at the doors which would be opening in five minutes and began to wonder over there. I stood by then watched ben and Minho approach.
"Hey newt hows it going. saw u and the greeny getting close last night," he smirked. I blushed slightly but turned around to look back at the walls which were now opening. Ben scowled at me before running in. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Minho. "He still hasn't sorted him self out?" "Nope sorry mate im trialing y/n today today though, to he a runner."

I slowly got up and walked over to breakfast with chuck waddling beside me. I queued for a bit with hin before sitting down at out usual table.

"Hey chuck do u ever wonder what's actually out there, i get the runners know but aren't u just a little curious?" He stared at me and shook his head re explaining the rules to me about how we cant go out there blah blah blah..
Newt sat down next to me and placed his hand around my waist. I blushed hard and looked down at my plate letting my Y/H/C , Y/H/L hair fall over my face. Chuck looked at me and smiled. "Aww the two love birdss" he said with a grin on his face. I looked up and glared at him making him laugh.
"So what chuck?" I half choked on my food and looked at him raising an eyebrow. He winked at me as i laughed to myself. Chuck clapped his hands together at stood up. "Oh y/n ur gonna try out for a runner today!" He said.
Finally, a job i wanted to do! I sprang up and walked over to Minho who was waiting gor me. "Hi greeny ready for ur first lesson?" He asked beginning to warm up. I joined him copying his every move.
After about 2 hours of running and doing practical warmups we went over to have some lunch. We ate quickly and then started the real fun.
Minho led me over to the opening in the maze and newt followed closely behind me. We would be sticking together for the test because we can't risk me getting lost. "You'll be ok right? Please don't get lost" he brang me into a tight hug. I pat his back softly. "We will be together newt she'll be fine"
He nodded and watched as me and Minho entered the maze. It was a nice run we turned corner after corner. Left. right. right. left. right. Me and Minho stopped to have a bit of a break. We leaned against the wall catching our breaths.
"Yk u make newt really happy.." he said glancing at me. "Really i didn't know" i shrugged and got up. Minho got up to looking at me. I felt him staring at me and looked at hin sticking my tongue out and running away like a game. We continued running for a few minutes before a clunking and scraping of metal made us stop.
