I woke up dizzy and very tired.

I sat up but a sharp pain shot through my head making me instantly fall back down. "Hey hey hey chill, ur hurt." I looked over to the source of the voice. Newt stood there looking at me worry shone in his bright brown eyes. "S-sorry" i muttered propping myself up to look at him.

"I thought u were gonna die im sorry i wasn't there to help or save u from the fall or a-anything." He stuttered on as i looked at him a grin creeping onto my face. I laughed out load and he looked at me confused. "sorry.. its just u apologising is funny and cute.." i blushed realising i just said that.

"Well im here if u wanna try to walk again?" I nodded and dangled my feet over the edge of the bed which was much nicer than my normal hammock. I stood up but immediately felt a sharp pain run through my leg making me sway. Newt noticed and grabbed my arm just as i started to fall (again). I sat on the floor my good leg tucked into my face so i was in a ball. The pain was to much. A silent tear slid down my cheek as newt lifted my chin so u looked at him.

"I don't want to be here w-what if a boy comes in i cant do anything i cant move!" I said as the realisation hit me. I was stuck in here not being able to move with a load of hormonal boys who haven't seen a girl since they can remember. Newt brought me into a hug as i sobbed. As much as i hated being venerable i couldn't help it. I felt defeated and weak. As i wept into newt my eyes became heavy. How? I was just asleep and now im tired already!? I felt my self slip into sleep in newts arms.

Newts pov
I held y/n in my arms. It ruined me she was in this much pain. She slumped in my arms suddenly, scaring me slightly. I looked at her realising she had fallen asleep in my arms. I smiled and hugged her. I could sense something about her different apart from being a girl ofc. I shrugged it off and tried to prop her body back onto the bed. I pulled the covers back over her kissing her softy on the cheek and walked out the room.

"Hey Clint, could you make sure nobody goes in?" He nodded. "i need to give her some soup anyway so she will be ok." I have him a thumbs up snd walked into the burning sun to continue doing my job.

"Oh hey alby anything u want me to do?" He nodded and guided me to the doors. Ben hasn't come back yet from the maze, can u keep an eye out for him?"
"Yeah thats fine," i grunted not to glad about the job i was given.

I was second in command for shuck sake and i had to watch the doors for someone i don't even like. Not great but im given something to do so ill do it.

"Hey newt, look!" I looked around to see y/n limping towards me. I rushed over to her ready to catch her it she fell again. She grabbed my arm stumbling slightly but let go immediately feeling certain she could do it. I wouldn't let her go that fast though. I picked her up into my arms like i did the other day and began to carry her back over to the med-jacks.

"Clint! I told u to take care of her! She escaped and was walking," i shouted opening the door and closing it behind me. He wondered over to me crossed arms. "I said she could. She should he able to walk again now at least limp and anyway she insisted on seeing u." He said raising an eyebrow. i blushed slightly. She wanted to see me?

"I-is this true y/n?" I question not quite knowing what to believe. "Oh umm y-yes i can walk again, kinda" she muttered i could sense she was kind or scared or worried so i relaxed my tone and looked at her. She looked up at me worry in her eyes. She looked down again like a lost puppy.

Slowly, I placed her on the floor making sure she was standing before i let go of her. "Well.. thats great just i don't want u in any pain ok?" I looked at her. As much as i will miss carrying her she would do better on her own. I mean it will give me a break from keeping an eye on her..
