Rex awoke to a knocking on his door.

"Go away!" Rex said, "I want to sleep!"

"Good to hear Rex," Cody replied, "But we have a meeting with the CCs and Light Batch,"

Rex groaned and looked beside him, Elmar was gone, Rex stood up and stretched, he replaced his armor, and walked out his door.

"You seem well rested," Cody said,

"Fuck off," Rex replied, "I was having a good sleep,"

Cody smiled, "I know Rex'ika, I know,"

They walked in silence till they got to the meeting room. Danger smiled at Rex from where he stood next to Fox.

"Rex! Good to see you!"

Rex felt himself smile, "Hey Ori'vod,"

Danger's girlfriend Esmerelda was also in the room.

"Hi," Rex said to Esmerelda,

"Captain Rex," Esmerelda smiled, 

Rex stood next to Sonic and Cody as Fox explained what was going on for the next 3 missions.

"501st and 212 are being sent to Umbaran, us Corries have many diplomatic missions we are being sent to, Danger you'll have the month off to spend with Esmerelda, the 104th are being sent to the outer-rim to deal with a spice run," Fox said,

Wolffe groaned, "Not another one,"

Rex laughed, "Good luck Wolffe,"

Wolffe shot Rex a glare.

Rex smiled, "I can't wait for the mission to start!"

Sonic laughed, "Rex, calm your inner cat,"

Rex just grinned.

Rex regretted his words the moment he set foot on Umbaran, so many died. He felt like he was about to collapse and cry. He had to fight both the Umbarans and himself. He couldn't just morph into a large blue panther in front of his troops, not while lives were at stake.

"REX!" Sonic yelled, "GENERAL SAID TO FALL BACK!" 

Rex turned around and ran to Sonic.

"I curse the day I'm forced to come back here," Rex hissed

Sonic nodded, and they both regrouped with the remanding 501st troops.

"Obi-Wan and the 212th are advancing onto the capital," General Skywalker was saying, he opened his mouth to say more when a drop-ship landed, Error and Furn ran out, both in armor with a darkish pink painted on, Furn's had some green. A new Jedi walked off, followed by... Elmar Woods.

Elmar made eye contact with Rex and sent him a shy smile.

"Master Krell," General Skywalker greeted the new Jedi,

"Skywalker," the Jedi said, "The chancellor requests your presence back on Coruscant,"

"He's not leaving, right? The Chancellor has no power over-"

"Alright," Skywalker said, "Captain Rex!"

Rex ran up to his general, "Yes sir?"

"I'm leaving Krell in charge, but use your jugment as you see fit," Skywalker said before entering the ship Krell exited on.

"You must be CT-7576," Krell said,

Rex snapped a salute to Krell, "It's an honor to meet you, sir!" Rex said with fake admiration in his voice.

"We'll storm the nearest base," Krell said then turned to Error, "Captain!"

Error stepped forward, "SIR!"

"You and CT-7576 will be in charge, you both have to follow my orders," Krell barked,

Error and Rex both snapped a salute.

"Get the troops moving!" Krell barked and walked off,

Rex nodded to Error, then walked to the troops, "We're heading out!"

The troops rushed to pack everything, then they moved out.

Error and Rex ran side by side, watching each other's backs as well as the troops. Elmar ran beside his master.

The fog thickened, and Elmar turned to Krell

"Master, I think we should rest before we continue, we need the troops at full capacity if we are to pull this off," Elmar said

Krell sighed, then nodded, "You're right Padawan,"

Rex walked over to Error and Furn, "Why'd he pick you two?"

Error sighed, "He's been trying to kill us ever since he found out about us being batchmates and defects,"

Rex nodded, "Let's just survive this mission,"
