Due to the sports festival, we got two days off to rest. During those two days, I helped with Izuku's training with All Might, pushing him to reach new heights. Despite his exhaustion, he never complained and instead thanked me for believing in him.
But then, it was finally time to get back to school. The day was rainy and moody. the grayish skies above us gave off a uniquely murky vibe. As always, we walk together to school, both of us equipped with an umbrella to protect ourselves from the weather.
I look over at Izuku, who seemed a bit off. "Everything alright Izuku?"
"Yeah... It's just... I'm worried about Iida."
"Are you talking about the thing that happened to his brother?" I ask
"It's all over the news. Do you think that this Hero Killer is with the league."
"I wish he was, but I don't think so. He seems..." I stop mid-sentence and furrow my brow, trying to find the right words. "He seems more like a vigilante than a villain, driven by a twisted sense of justice."
"Why do you think that?" Izuku asks, concerned.
"I have my reasons."
Our conversation was interrupted by Iida greeting us, saying, "Good morning, Midorya and Tsukisasaru! Why are you two walking so slowly? You'll be late!"
"Wait, but there's still five minutes before the first bell!" Izuku said as we followed Lida running.
"U.A students should always arrive ten minutes early, don't you think?"
Iida dashes off.
When we all entered the school, Iida was leaving his green rain gear in his locker.
"You should talk with him." I say to Izuku.
"Wha-me?"
"You two are close friends. It might be good for both of you to have a conversation." I reply as I put away my umbrella and walk away.
As I entered the class, everyone was talking about the festival, and how their participation affected them. Most, if not all, were already being recognized by others.
"It's so weird that people recognized us from the TV." Ashido spoke up. "Everyone wanted to talk to me on my way here."
"Yeah, me too!" Kirishima joined.
"But seriously though, all it took was one sports festival, and suddenly we're celebrities." Kaminari adds.
"This school really is amazing." Mineta added.
The classroom door opened, everyone sat down.
"Morning..." Aizawa says nochalantly entered.
"Good morning, Mr. Aizawa." The class replied together.
Tsuyu instinctively ribbits as she says, " Mr. Aizawa. You don't have bandages anymore. That's good news."
"The old lady went a little bit overboard in her treatment. But anyway, we have a big class today, our Hero Informatics. You'll need codenames. Time to pick your hero identities."
The class perked up, but then Aizawa glared at them menacingly, quieting them back down.
"This will be related to the pro hero draft picks that I mentioned the last time we were in class together. Normally, students don't have to worry about draft picks yet, not untill they're second or third year actually. But your class is different. In fact. By extending offers to first years like you, pros are essentially investing in your potential. Any offers can be rescinded if their interest dies down before graduation though."
