Gran Torino has a knowing look in his eyes, as if he knows that Izuku has already grown and developed his skills in the short time we left him alone.
He says to Izuku, "That's it, keep your quirk flowing throughout your entire body. If you can move around like this, then you'll be on a completely different level than you were at the sports festival...So kid, think you can handle it?"
Gran Torino then grabs a stopwatch, smirking at Izuku. "We'll begin with three minutes," he says, his voice steady and encouraging.
"Okay... For what?" he asks.
"That's the amount of time you have to hit me!" Gran Torino starts the stopwatch and immediately starts darting around the room with incredible speed.

As Izuku focuses on keeping his quirk flowing throughout his body, Gran Torino suddenly kicks him in the face with lightning speed. Izuku stumbles back, caught off guard by the sudden attack. Gran Torino's words travel throughout the room, saying, "Pathetic... If you can't even hold your own against an old man, how will you protect those who are in need?"

Gran Torino continues to hit Izuku with precision and speed, but despite the pain, Izuku grits his teeth and tries to keep up with the older hero's movements. But Gran Torino is relentless, never giving him a moment to catch his breath.
"Someone praised by the Symbol of Peace himself should be able to complete this challenge easily, without a sweat."
In an attempt to buy some time, Izuku dives beneath a nearby couch, maybe to activate his Quirk or come up with a new strategy to counter Gran Torino's attacks.
