Chapter 2

We arrived at the Interaction Center with the hologram dinosaurs and met up with my boss otherwise know as their aunt Claire.
I saw her walking down the spiral stair case looking for us, when it looked liked she spotted Grey.
"Grey? Grey is that you?" She yelled from the stairs walking over to us. Grey ran over to her and gave her a hug while Zach just walked over to her in silence.
"You got so tall! I haven't seen you in 4, 5 years?" Claire exclaimed to Zach trying to show us how tall he used to be.
"It's seven years." Zach said clearly annoyed with his aunt.
"Here's your VIP passes so you won't have to wait in the long lines" she said and handed Gray the passes who handed them to me.
"I've got an important meeting to go to. I'll meet up with you guys at 6." Said Claire.
"Remember you have to-" reminded Zara who was actually paying attention for once and not on her phone.
"Right. Then I'll meet up with you guys at 8. What time do you go to bed? Or do go to bed at separate times?"
Gray looked heartbroken. His aunt was always busy and they haven't seen each other in years, while Zach was giving her a you gotta be kidding me look.
"Um, come on Gray." I said taking his hand and we walked away with Zach behind us and Zara trailing behind.

We walked outside and that seemed to cheer Grey up but he still looked a bit bummed out. I pointed to all the attractions we could go on. After Zach and Grey stopped arguing about Grey wanting Zach to pick him up I sat down on a bench with Zach as we waited for Zara to catch up, while Grey was amused watching the baby dinosaurs. I looked down at my phone to check if I had any messages from anyone, when I noticed Zach and Grey running over to the Mosasaurus stadium.
Zara finally arrived but was still on her phone, so I quickly told her that I'd keep an eye on the boys and ran off after them.

I got into the stadium just as the show was about to start. I skimmed the crowd and found Zach and Grey. I ran up to the seats next to them and sat down next to Grey.
"What the heck was that about?" I whispered/yelled at them while the announcer explained about the Mosasaurus.
Grey looked up at me clearly he was excited to be sitting in this seat about to watch this monstrous creature eat the shark that was making it's way on a crane at the top of the pool. Zach was on his phone. Nothing new there.
The show was starting and the crane was moving along wire to the center of the pool.
"You show put your phone away." I told Zach as the crane reached its position.

"Let's see if it's still hungry!" Shouted the announcer and after about 3 seconds of silence out jumped the Mosasaurus. It's huge crocodile-like mouth consumed the entire shark and it fell back into the water with a humungous splash getting everyone wet.
"Now that was cool" said Zach with a smile on his face, which caused me to smile as well.

Grey soon after the show ran off to see the T-Rex feeding. It was pretty crowded but Gray seemed to wriggle his way to the front to see the dinosaur in action. Zach watched for a bit but seemed to have gotten bored and sat down on the bench with me.
"What's up?" I asked trying to have an actual real conversation with this guy.
"Nothing" he looked up at me still texting.
"How old are you?" I asked hoping he'd answer.
"I'm 16"
"Really? I am too!" He was my age. Omg. Wow!
"You texting your girlfriend?" I asked meaning for it to be a joke.
"Um yeah." What? Of course he has one, but with all the girls he's been staring at I don't think it's that serious of a relationship.
"O-oh cool." I said even though I felt shattered for some reason.
"What about you? You have a boyfriend?" He said smirking and putting his phone away.
"Um. Yeah, of course!" I said nervously hoping he didn't notice me stuttering.
"What's his name?" He asked smirking again. Cute.
"Uh, his name is. Owen!" Owen? I really just said that?
"Oh." He said sorta disappointed. Was he expecting me to say no?
